To make sure UMNO wins, will he lie and cheat?
Malacca CM Idris Haron has proposed a redelineation of electoral boundaries to create three additional state seats. He said this would increase the Malay voting population from 53 per cent to 67.5 per cent, and be of help to the Barisan Nasional.
Before this, he claimed that America wants to kill Malays in Malaysia, and then explained that he wanted to encourage patriotism in the nation.

Electoral watchdog says redelineation process is not meant to ensure victory for the ruling party.
KUALA LUMPUR: Electoral watchdog Bersih 2.0 has called for Malacca Chief Minister Idris Haron to be censured for “abetting the Election Commission to violate the Federal Constitution”.
Yesterday, Idris had proposed a redelineation of electoral boundaries to create three additional state seats. He said this would increase the Malay voting population from 53 per cent to 67.5 per cent, and be of help to the Barisan Nasional.
Bersih 2.0, condemning the proposal, said that Idris was abetting the EC.
“Contrary to Idris Haron’s intention, the redelineation process is not designed to ensure the ruling coalition’s victory when it loses majority support.
Idris, who is also an Umno supreme council member, said yesterday that the federal electoral boundaries in Tangga Batu and Kota Melaka should be amended to boot out Opposition supporters.
“With a little adjustment at the borders of Tangga Batu and Kota Melaka (parliament seats), God willing we can control voters who don’t support BN so that they’re not in these constituencies.
“I hope the Election Commission will continue to coordinate the redelineation,” Idris was quoted as saying.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 — A former minister today disagreed with Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron’s suggestion for constituencies to be redrawn to ensure Barisan Nasional (BN) regains the seats it lost in Election 2013.
Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin, who was Federal Territories minister, said redelineation should only be conducted to cater for population changes brought about by the movement of voters.
“I think I don’t agree with his statement because redelineation should be to respect the physical movement of people because of redevelopment,” Raja Nong Chik told reporters in a press conference here, after the Lembah Pantai Umno division meeting.
In his speech at the launch of the meeting earlier, Raja Nong Chik also requested for a redelineation exercise in Kuala Lumpur, citing changes in demography owing to development.
But he insisted that his suggestion was not motivated by a desire to give the BN coalition an advantage.
The Malacca CM himself has given credence & insight into how BN been winning elections all this while.
