IPOH: Stranded commuters at the Kampar and Ipoh KTM stations here are getting restless as works to remove derailed carriages at Kampung Bakap, Batu Gajah, are still ongoing.
Trader Nurhayati Jamil, 42, from Batu Gajah, who was met at the Kampar KTM station, said she was on her way to a relative’s house in Kuala Lumpur.
“I wanted to bring my two children there for the weekend. We were here at 10.30am and were not told about the incident. We were supposed to board the ETS train at 11am. By then, the crowd had built up and some of them were frustrated and asking for a refund. There was no electricity and we were later informed by staff at the counter about the incident.
