Kota Baru Puteri Umno apologises over ‘inappropriate dance’ for VIPs at annual conference

KOTA BARU: Kota Baru Puteri Umno today expressed its apology and regret over what they deemed was an “inappropriate performance” at the opening ceremony of the wing’s annual conference on Saturday.

A dance performed by four women, which supposedly resembled belly dancing, took place in front of Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Tajuddin Rahman and several other VIPs from the state’s party leadership.
.
Kota Baru Puteri Umno chief, Wan Salmiah Wan Ghani, issued an apology after a video clip of the performance, shared online, was lambasted by both party members and netizens.

I don’t really care about women wanting to gelek all they want. What I don’t quite fancy is Puteri Umno members viewed as pemanis/objects.
