JOHOR BAHARU: A grandmother who was believed to have been killed by her grandson at Felda Pengeli Timur near Kota Tinggi yesterday was confirmed to have died from stab wounds on her stomach before she was decapitated.

Kota Tinggi District Police Chief Supt Rahmat Othman said the cause of death for Maimon Abdul Samad, 76, was confirmed by the pathologist in Sultan Ismail Hospital here when he conducted the post-mortem this morning.

“According to the doctor, the victim died from stab wounds on the right side of her stomach and in the blood vessels in her lungs.

“When the victim cut off her head and her two arms, she was already dead,” he said in a statement here today.

KOTA TINGGI: A 76-year-old grandmother was found murdered with her head decapitated and other limbs severed at her house in Felda Pengeli Timur today.

District police chief Superintendent Rahmat Othman said in the 6.30pm incident, the body of Maimon Abdul Samad was found underneath a sink in her kitchen.

An initial police report said that her head was found in front of the entrance to the house. Her two hands were severed and her legs were slashed.
