I wasn’t planning on making an Honest Government Ad about the Corona virus, I was already working on something else, but a few days ago it became glaringly obvious that we needed to make this video. Because it’s a shitshow. It’s an unusual HGA, coz we take a break from counting the ways our Government is shit, in order to help governments communicate a vital public health announcement. The Juice Media has a relatively large audience now and perhaps that’s why I feel a sense of responsibility to use this platform to amplify important messages in times of need. And the message that urgently requires amplifying right now is the need to “Flatten the Curve” – meaning: slowing down the rate of infection as much as possible to ensure our hospitals and healthcare staff can keep up and cope with the pressure. It’s critical to understand that an overwhelmed hospital system is fatal not just to Covid19 patients but to anyone requiring hospital care.
