Bersih convoy goes through Kapar without incident
KAPAR: The Bersih convoy has arrived without any incident, despite waiting “Red Shirt” protestors here.
The convoy reached the town’s PKR office about 2.30pm, where the anti-Bersih protestors were waiting.
Police had cordoned off the street in order to keep both groups apart.
The convoy drove out shortly after to avoid the protestors, only to return at about 3pm.
Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos, the leader of the anti-Bersih group, had joined his vociferous red-shirted group about 2pm.
