I just felt that there was an unholy rush to appoint a PM when he already had an interim PM so the ship is not going to head right into the lighthouse. His job security is safe so why not wait a month or so to see who blinks first and to let the [redacted] stew a bit. If the economy tanks, every government is going to blame the coronavirus anyway. Belgium survived longer without a government. The civil service just carried on as usual.
