ETS and Intercity ticket sales suspended from mid-May
KUALA LUMPUR: All Electric Train Services (ETS) and Intercity ticket sales will be temporarily suspended effective May 15 and May 13 respectively, announced KTM Bhd (KTMB) today.
KTMB said Shuttle Terbau (JB Sentral – Woodlands – JB Sentral) intercity services will be the only route excluded from the suspension.
This suspension, KTMB said is to rationalise the current services for the benefit of the passengers.KTMB said train schedules and fares would be published on the KTMB website soon, apologising for the inconvenience.
KTMB also announced that the Express Rakyat train service for Butterworth to JB Sentral and JB Sentral to Butterworth sector will be cancelled effective May 9.
The company said all passengers can claim a full refund from the nearest KTM ETS or intercity ticketing centre.
