Legoland to build record 1,888 square mandarin oranges

JOHOR BARU: Not all oranges are the same, or are they?

Yes, you can find square-shaped oranges in Legoland, Nusajaya.

You can even build the mandarin oranges as you take part in the LEGO model building process, and be a participant for an entry in the Malaysia Book of Records.

Sounds great?

Just come to Legoland before Feb 22, and experience the model building fun.

Casper Bonavent, director of operations of Legoland Malaysia, said, all park guests are invited to build the mandarin oranges from now till Feb 22.

“The record attempt will be held on March 6 where the aim is to set a record of 1,888 LEGO mandarin oranges to enter the Malaysia Book of Records.”

Legoland dazzles with Star Wars fantasy

JOHOR BARU: LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort celebrated its annual Lego Star Wars Days last weekend with various fun-filled activities for  movie fans and families visiting the park.

The highlight of the celebration was the Star Wars lightsabre performances at Lego City Stage followed by training sessions for children to become highly skilled Jedi Knights.

Besides the performances, the park also screened the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back movie at the Lego Studio 4D Theatre and organised the Jedi Journey activity where guests earned special prizes at each station.

There was also the “Spot the Lego Star Wars Minifigure” contest where guests were asked to find a special figure pinned on various Legoland staff throughout the weekend.

Legoland Malaysia also allowed free entrance to guests who came dressed as their favourite Star Wars characters.

Legoland Hotel Malaysia opens this November 2013

Located in the main Legoland park here in Nusajaya, Johor, the Legoland Hotel has 249 specially themed rooms for families. Each room can cater to four people easily, that would be two adults and two children.
