Anwar confirms did not meet Najib in Jakarta: Susilo wanted to know about BN’s GE13 fraud

Malaysian Opposition chief Anwar Ibrahim confirmed he did not meet Prime Minister Najib Razak in Jakarta, telling a 10,000-odd crowd in Batu Pahat, Johor that he had gone to the Indonesian capital at the invitation of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to brief him on the alleged electoral fraud in Malaysia’s recently-concluded 13th general election.

Like other regional leaders, Susilo is concerned about the way forward for Malaysia after the controversial poll that the Malaysian Opposition and civil society say was marred by massive vote rigging, fraud and irregularities.

“There was no previous communication between me and President SBY and I took care to watch the Malaysian government’s ‘face’. I know TV3 and Utusan (the Umno controlled TV channel and newspaper) will spin a story about me being a foreign stooge. But what is important is that President SBY wanted to know what was happening in Malaysia and issued the invitation due to the increased coverage by the Indonesian media, which has been covering the Malaysian situation extensively. The feeling there is that the electoral fraud committed was excessive and if it had happened in Indonesia, there would have been a revolt,” Anwar told the crowd at Parit Raja.”

“The European Parliament has passed a resolution to put off signing a Free Trade Agreement with the Malaysian government until all the fraud allegations have been investigated. Turkey fails to understand why Pakatan which won 51% of total votes cannot form the federal government. And President SBY, who does not have any intention to interfere, wants to know how did the fraud take place. Where can our leaders hide their faces.”

June 22 very critical

According to Anwar, the Indonesians also wanted to know what would happen on June 22.

The 64-year-old was referring to a mammoth rally the Opposition is organizing for next Saturday at the Padang Merbok field in Kuala Lumpur to protest massive and widespread vote rigging, fraud and irregularities they claim had robbed them of victory during the May 5 general election.

“June 22 is very critical. Everyone, from orang kampong (village folk),  to fishermen, farmers and most important of all young Malaysians must come. The world, just like Indonesia, is watching. Is there going to be  a protest, is it true the people want to clean up the electoral system, is it true they want to plug up all the weaknesses? If we succeed, then God willing, I am sure June 22 will mark a turning point in Malaysia’s cruel political landscape.

    The people must gather in hundreds of thousands to demand the resignation/removal of the EC Chairman and his Deputy. They should have resigned over the indelible ink fiasco, they have shown no accountability, if they are unwilling to resign, We will need BERSIH 4.0 to send a petition to Agong! Need to clean up before GE14 ..EC has betrayed the people, they are on BN’s payroll. In any civilized country these top EC cheats, liars and traitors to the nation will be jailed and a full investigation on their illegal activities warranted. Nothing short of a life sentence will satisfy the general public. In New Zealand nothing remotely resembles these rots, our PM has no connection with the NZ EC whatsover! Alan Newman.

    Najib: “I would like to stress here that I have never interfered in MACC’s operations. They are independent and free to carry out their investigations on anyone.” What about Scorpene & Cowgate? Musa and Taib ( in power and plundered for 31 years to be one of the richest in Asia ? Your PM is not a legititmate PM in the eyes of the world. He has zero credibility. He should have been in jail long ago. All scandals, corruption, thefts, murders, Scorpene, Mongolian murder and other killings…all forgotten. BN’s string of scandals, nepotism, cronyism, fraud, gerrymandering, rigging, media control, sabotage, false prosecution & imprisonments of opposition, murders, evil …can fill a book. Liars, cheaters, thieves, murderers will always remain so. Leopards don’t change their spots. This is M’sia’s biggest tragedy.

    Let put this in order as I predict nothing will be in your benefit if you think democracy can be win through reason. As people see especially you have shown to the world how corrupt your Government can be. So the point is people understand but if you plan by further convince where will they leap to? You become a show that everyone see and what action will that be to correct this wrong doing? It must be a mass of action like Thailand occupy the airport or Euro worker on strike. Is must be of an impact that make a country stop and settle the issue otherwise the issue will settle by itself like you become a shadow of voiceless that no ear can heard. It will happen if you do not take action just like Syria is now seem winning. Did Obama win a real war if it keep using his mouth? He can give alot of weapon but those weapon if never go through training they do not work best even if it is 10 times better than the other. You have all the people but no weapon so the people is your weapon. It has to be a mass of strike and take care of those who support the goal. That is the only way to go to stop the economy and everyone would stop and handle this. Be prepare to go in prison and everyone fight to let you out and strike strike and strike. Just like Tora tora tora…. Remember?
