Man used drugs, acted ‘possessed’ to obtain oral sex from daughter’s teenage friends
SINGAPORE – A 49-year-old technician, who used various means to force three of his daughter’s friends to perform oral sex on him on four separate occasions, was sentenced to 20 years’ jail and 16 strokes of the cane on Monday (March 4).
Once, the man acted as if he was possessed, frightening one of the 14-year-olds into complying with his demands. He even pretended to return to normal afterwards and asked her what had happened.
He drugged another girl by giving her sleeping pills before demanding oral sex, but she managed to escape from his clutches.
Pointing to the man’s use of deception, threats of violence and even a hypnotic drug, Deputy Public Prosecutor James Chew said such predatory conduct must be strongly deterred to adequately protect young girls.

NO SAFE IS SAFE ENOUGH…
Fruit vendor who lost $500k dismissed CCTV problem http://ebx.sh/1OczcDb
He cried when he found almost $500,000 in cash missing from his safe.
But after the shock discovery came the nagging questions.
Out of about 1,400 shops at the Pasir Panjang wholesale centre, why was his the only one to be hit?
He said he usually does not keep that much money in the safe, which has been in his office for decades.
The bulk of the cash was supposed to be used to pay his suppliers, who prefer payment in cash.
“It was the festive period, so many of our suppliers prefer cash to cheques,” he said.
“I also wanted to give out bonuses to my employees because Chinese New Year is approaching.”
CCTV NOT WORKING
A week before the robbery, Mr Loh found out that the closed-circuit television camera (CCTV) installed in his office was not working because of a power trip the previous week.
He dismissed the problem because the CCTV technician was overseas.

Man accused of raping 12-year-old girl he met on mobile app
Man on trial for raping 12-year-old he met through phone messaging app.
By RONALD LOH
A 39-year-old man has been accused of raping a 12-year-old girl, just three days after meeting her through a mobile phone messaging app.
After exchanging messages with her, Lee Seow Peng, who used Lucifer as a moniker on the app, picked up the girl near her school in May 2012.
He drove her to an open-air carpark at Chinese Garden where he allegedly raped her in the backseat of his car.
He was arrested after her mother discovered his messages when he allegedly tried to arrange to meet the girl again five days later.
Yesterday, Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) Jasmine Chin-Sabado said in the prosecution’s statement that the girl first met Lee via the unnamed mobile phone messaging app on May 26, 2012.
She was then in Secondary 1.
Dr Manisha Mathur, from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital’s department of obstetrics and gynaecology, who examined the girl in June 2012, is among the 15 prosecution witnesses.
Dr Mathur told the court that the girl had told her that she resisted Lee, but he was too strong and he raped her while wearing a condom.
She also said that the girl’s hymen was torn, but it was difficult to ascertain when that had happened as the examination was more than 72 hours after the alleged incident.

Eyewitness to high-speed chase: ‘It was like a Jackie Chan Movie’
Driver leads police cars, bikes on 13km high-speed chase.
Cabby Ang Wen Bin was heading for Sentosa to pick up a customer when he noticed the Hyundai in his rear-view mirror on West Coast Road.
Within seconds, the car had zoomed past him. Chasing it were three police motorcycles and two police cars, all with their sirens blaring, he told TNPS.
Mr Ang recalled in Mandarin: “I saw a lot of flashing police lights in my mirrors, so I instinctively moved to the leftmost lane. I thought I was going quite fast already but they simply flew past me.”
“I have never seen a car chase in all my life, so I followed them because it was quite exciting,” said Mr Ang.
“I saw how the police tried to turn into his lane to block him, but he continued going.”
Mr Ang stopped following the pursuit when he lost them at Alexandra Road.
He said: “It was almost exactly like the scene from Jackie Chan’s movie Thunderbolt, where the cops were chasing down the baddies.”

11 arrested for not scanning items at supermarket self-checkout counters
SINGAPORE – Eleven people were arrested for shop theft in one week at a supermarket in Tampines, police said.
All the thefts, which took place in the first week of December, were at the self-checkout counters at the supermarket on Tampines North Drive 2.
The suspects are believed to have put unscanned items into plastic bags containing other scanned items.
ONE in five customers now use self-checkout counters in two supermarket chains. Many chains also said the new system has raised productivity and cut manpower costs.
For example, over at FairPrice, only one staff member mans the entire self-checkout area with four or six counters, compared with six cashiers required for six conventional counters.

Meanwhile, at Cold Storage, the number of cashiers has been reduced by about 44 per cent in a mid-sized store, said a spokesman.
It has 84 self-checkout counters at 27 stores, the first of which was installed in 2006.
FairPrice, Cold Storage and Giant still have conventional cashiers for shoppers who prefer that option but Sheng Siong adopts a different system.
It uses a hybrid model where cashiers no longer accept payment from customers but only scan and pack the items. Customers must pay for the items at self-payment machines.
Not the first time man caught pressing his crotch against female commuters on train
“Suspect is a Chinese male in his 40s-50s, about 1.6m to 1.8m tall, wearing dark coloured spectacles, grey T-shirt and carrying a sling bag. He was last seen at Eunos MRT station platform this evening at 7.45pm.”
Stomper samlamanmail saw a man standing really close behind a woman on the MRT and pressing his groin area to her back yesterday (Dec 9).
Apparently, this was not the first time he was caught doing such a thing.
“Saw a man (grey T-shirt) standing real close to a women (dark blue dress) when I was on the MRT train towards Pasir Ris.
“I first noticed it after the train left City Hall, so I assumed it was an accident given that the victim did not raise an alarm or called for help, as her eyes glued to her phone oblivious to the man just behind her.
“However after the MRT train left the tunnel and at around Kallang, that’s where my suspicion grew as I realised he’s still in the same position even after the train went past a few stations. I even moved towards the centre in order to give him an opportunity to move away from her, which he didn’t.
“I then decided to take a photo of him secretly.”
The man noticed the Stomper taking a photo of him. The Stomper continued:
“GUESS WHAT? He realised my action and immediately moved a little behind with his private part area no longer touching her back side. Then when the train reaches the next station at Eunos, the coward pervert immediately alighted at there.
“When I confronted the victim after the train left the station, I asked if the man did touch her in whatever ways.
“To my surprise, she wasn’t aware that the man had her private part area on her backside for about 10 mins. The incident occurred this evening at around 7.40pm and a police report has been lodged.
On Nov 6, the Facebook page had also shared a clip of the same man doing a similar thing to other female commuters in a separate incident.
While on his way to Woodlands MRT yesterday evening, our brave reader came across this disgusting pervert pushing his private parts against the butts of unsuspecting women in the MRT!

Man gets 8 months’ jail for ‘trip and fall’ molest ruse
Tan Keng Leng would pretend to trip and fall while getting out of the lift. When his victims tried to help him up, he would molest them.
- POSTED: 19 Nov 2015 17:57
SINGAPORE: He would pretend to trip and fall while getting out of the lift, and when his victims tried to help him up, he would molest them.
Tan Keng Leng, 35, was on Thursday (Nov 19) sentenced to eight months’ jail for using this ruse to outrage the modesty of multiple women.
In August 2013, after following his first victim into the lift, Tan pretended to fall down while exiting. When the woman asked him if he was all right, Tan told her he had sprained his ankle. The woman helped Tan out of the lift and into a nearby chair.
While she was helping Tan to the chair, the woman felt his hand on her breast. When they reached the chair, Tan gripped the woman’s bra and refused to let go, despite the woman’s shouts of protest. Tan pulled the victim to sit on his lap, but the woman immediately jumped up and ran away.
Assistant Public Prosecutor Daniel Marini told the court on Thursday that Tan’s offences were clearly planned and premeditated. The APP likened Tan’s actions to “a predator tracking his prey”, and said that Tan had “exploited the kindness of his victims” and molested them.

The male HK sex worker, 41, had threatened to leak nude photos and videos of a Singapore woman, 67…

When he came to Singapore to collect the money, the police were waiting.
A male gigolo from HK blackmailed his 67-yr-old lover using her nude pictures & sex videos. http://ebx.sh/1MOFFc0
She had a two-year relationship with a male sex worker nearly 30 years her junior.
But the affair turned ugly when the 67-year-old Singaporean woman decided to end things and stop giving the gigolo money.
Freelance masseur Calvin Mok Wai Lun, now 41, demanded $100,000 from the woman to end the relationship.
The bespectacled Hong Kong national threatened to disseminate her compromising video clips and a nude photograph of her if she did not give in to his demand.
The court heard that he had taken them without her knowledge while they were on holiday together. The woman cannot be named due to a gag order.
On Aug 20, he sent her a series of threatening WhatsApp messages. He also sent her voice clips, threatening to ruin her career and destroy her reputation.
After negotiating with him, the sum demanded was finally reduced to $60,000.
The distressed woman made a police report six days later.
She also managed to convince Mok to come to Singapore on Sept 3 to collect the money.
He arrived at Changi Airport that day and was arrested by police officers.
They seized his mobile phone and found the woman’s nude photograph. They also discovered two video clips of the couple engaging in sexual activities.

She noticed the new tenant, a Chinese national in her early 20s, who moved in last month.
The newcomer is believed to be on a student visa and studies at a private project management and engineering school.
Mary, who is single, observed that soon after the new tenant moved in, men were seen loitering outside the condo block.
The first man Mary noticed had said he was visiting a friend. He was later let in by the Chinese national.
While viewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, Mary spotted the same woman taking different men up to her unit late at night.
Soon, a pattern emerged.
More men would linger outside the condo, make a call, and the woman would take them into her apartment. About an hour later, the men would leave.
Sometimes, she would accompany one man down and return to her apartment with another.

She knew every resident in the 30-unit condominium which was why the new tenant stuck out like a sore thumb.
Almost daily, the young woman would meet men outside the building and take them to her apartment for an hour.
This happened for a month and the long-time resident had a feeling something illegal was taking place.
Not wanting her condo to be turned into a vice den, she called the police, who promptly arrested the woman after a stakeout.
