Ministry mulls taking action against 1.4pct who broke home quarantine

The Health Ministry is contemplating taking action against those who violated their home surveillance orders (HSO) and had check-in records on their MySejahtera history during their quarantine period.

He said between Dec 1 and 28, 1.4 percent of people recorded as being under HSO in the application were found to have checked in at premises when they were supposed to stay home.

“Before this we didn’t take action but seeing as there are people (violating the HSO), even if it is 1.4 percent, maybe we need to take action against those who repeatedly go out or check-in when they should be at home,” Khairy said at a press conference in Putrajaya today.
