After writing on @Independent and @DailyMailUK, here my latest op-ed on @TheSun . Visually attractive design with an enlightening quote: “warn the world of China’s brutal regime.”

It is game over for Hong Kong. It was always part of the mainland except when the British leased – I repeat leased – it. You can cry foul over the shortening of the one-country two-systems timetable but there is no referee at all which can adjudicate this. Eventually it is the parent who decides. The tycoons and film stars like Donnie Yen and Jacky Chan all recognized early on which side of their bread was buttered and pledged their support.
