I am not convinced. Firstly, nobody explains what they get up to in those labs. I doubt they hold bring your kid to work days. My guess is NOTHING good. Secondly, Monsanto didn’t deliberately engineer a roundup-resistant gene. They discovered bacteria surviving at a spot where roundup was leaking. Something like that or something like the Penicillin story. In the lab, they probably mixed and nuked multiple samples and this won the lottery.
How do we know that some AI was not used to engineer this? They have beaten the best human GO player. One AI trained from scratch managed to beat another AI in GO 100 – 0. Universities can be paid to prove anything like the animation of the plane entering the World Trade Tower and causing it to collapse. The best way to disprove this beyond reasonable doubt is to find the colony of bats/pangolins/whatever. That is still a viable cluster that can reinfect us all. Why is nobody pursuing this? Why not infect bats and pangolins to see if they can even carry this virus. What about mosquitoes? Dengue is caused by a virus. Shouldn’t we be worried? How do you prove SARS-CoV-2 CANNOT be transmitted by mosquitoes?
