Jamal Yunos not an important person, senior Umno minister says
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 ― Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz today dismissed Datuk Jamal Md Yunos’s claim of a plot to oust Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, saying the party division chief has very little clout in Umno.
Nazri, a senior Umno politician who sits in the party’s supreme council, also claimed that Jamal was merely airing his own opinion.
“It is his own view, he is not an important person, so it is okay. It is a free country,” he told reporters when met at the Parliament lobby.
He went on to say that he will follow any decision made by the party’s top leadership.
Nazri, who is Padang Rengas MP, was responding to a report in Sinar Harian today that quoted Jamal as confirming rumours of a plot to get Muhyiddin and his supporters sacked from Umno.

Umno man ‘confirms’ plot to oust Muhyiddin
There is a clandestine move to oust Muhyiddin Yassin from his deputy president’s post in Umno, claimed Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Md Yunos.
“In my opinion, Muhyiddin must be fired and we (Umno) are trying to compile a list of Umno division chiefs to support the move.
“If I were the prime minister, I would have sacked him a long time ago, not just as Umno deputy president but also as Umno member,” Jamal told Sinar Harian.
More than 100 Umno division leaders have held closed-door meetings to discuss ways to kick out Muhyiddin and his supporters.
Social website Johor Bangkit claimed there are 140 Umno division chiefs who are backing Muhyiddin’s ouster. Umno has 199 divisions nationwide.
Jamal said Muhyiddin’s behaviour was why they wanted him out of the party, though Umno Hulu Langat division chief Johan Abdul Aziz advised party’s leaders to take the less drastic action of disciplinary action against Muhyiddin.

Malays should realise that Malaysia is their country and they therefore must unite to look after and defend every inch of Malay land, Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Mohd Yunos says.
Jamal who is also chairperson of a coalition of Malay NGOs, said there is no other land for the Malays except Malaysia.
“Hence, let us rise and unite, in the name of Malays and Islam, to look after our homeland from any threats and exploitations that are prevalent or hidden.
“This is what we inherited from our fighters and ancestors, which is precious and which we should look after,” Jamal said in a Facebook posting.

Islam dictates race above nationality, #Merah169 leader claims
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 — While he would proclaim he is Malaysian first, Islam requires him to prioritise his race before his nationality, #Merah169 rally leader Datuk Jamal Md Yunos asserted in an interview last night.
The Sungai Besar Umno division chief was speaking as a guest in an online Chinese-language talk show on www.pocketimes.my, and was asked by the hosts if he identified as Malaysian first or Malay first.
Put on the spot, he first stalled for time by suggesting that the show’s two ethnic Chinese hosts would identify with their race first, but was instead met with denials.
“I will also say I am Malaysian first, of Malay descent but it is mandatory in our religion that we need to defend our race first but not oppress other races, this is my opinion,” he said.
“I am a Malay and I will defend the fate of Malays but we will never oppress the Chinese or Indians. We are one race if we go by the constitution. Surely, nothing untoward will happen in this country,” he said during the interview that ran more than an hour long.

‘I know Eina Azman but I did not try to rape her’
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 23, 2015:
Sungai Besar Umno division chief Datuk Jamal Md Yunos admits to knowing and having met actress Eina Azman but denies allegations that he attempted to rape her.
According to Jamal, as a businessman who owns an entertainment company, it was obvious he would have met many artistes.
“I know many artistes because I am a businessman and I have an entertainment company.
“I know her (Eina) and many others I have met. I have also met (Datuk) Siti Nurhaliza before, as well as other artistes,” he said after lodging a police report outside the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters here, today.
The report was lodged following various slander being thrown against him on social media, one of which included the claim that he had attempted to rape the actress.

Jamal Yunos denies reports linking him to rape attempt on movie star
KUALA LUMPUR: Sungai Besar Umno division chief Datuk Jamal Md Yunos (pic) has denied reports that he drugged and attempted to rape a Malaysian movie star.
“I deny that I was involved in any of these activities as claimed by social media users,” he said during Wednesday’s press conference at the Ampang Jaya police station.
“This is a very irresponsible act.”
Jamal also condemned those who negatively linked him to the actress.
“When I checked the accusations, I saw that the attempted rape claim was not a statement released by the actress. It was a statement by other people who linked me to it. When I checked all the accusations, there were no statements by the actress, so you call and ask her,” he said.
Although strongly denying the claims in social media, Jamal however admitted that he knows the actress in question through his work as a businessman dealing in the entertainment industry.
“I know many artistes because I am a businessman and I also own an entertainment company supplying equipment. And many artistes know me,” he said in response to media queries.
“I know her. I know many other artistes, and have met Siti Nurhaliza and the rest,” he said

Jamal Yunos denies rejecting Chinese customers
PETALING JAYA: Sungai Besar Umno division chief Datuk Jamal Yunos (pix) has denied allegations that Chinese customers are banned from entering his hotel and restaurant.
Jamal, who is also the Malay NGOs coalition president, said that he has never imposed such restrictions.
“In fact, I welcome anyone who comes regardless of his or her race, or lineage,” he said in a statement Monday.
Jamal added that lately, there have been many defamatory and false statements linked to him and his businesses.
“I would like to request the readers to evaluate such claims carefully and to check with me before reaching any conclusions,” said the Sekinchan Ikan Bakar restaurant owner.

Jamal sees nothing wrong with ‘Cina Babi’
The Red Shirts leader says only Malays would recoil at the mention of pigs.
KUALA LUMPUR: Red Shirts leader Jamal Yunos has expressed surprise that some Chinese are offended by the phrase “Cina babi (Chinese pigs),” which was used yesterday by some of the participants at the Red Shirts Rally.
Speaking to reporters today, he said he thought pigs were abhorrent only to Malays because their religion prohibits the eating of pork.
He said he couldn’t understand what the Chinese were so sensitive about because, “from what I hear, pigs are food to the Chinese, generally.”
At some point during the rally, some participants yelled out “Cina babi” as they chased away journalists who appeared to be Chinese.

You shouldnt call cina babi. You should say cina makan babi. See what you have done. Just apologise and dont give excuses. You like if i call you names. Please do to others just as you want others to do to you. REMEMBER! You are a businessman and with your remarks you can pull down your image and businesses into the drain. Apologise and dont defend or give excuse what you have utters.
