Rafizi: I have no ties with ‘Umno clown’ Jamal
…

PETALING JAYA: PKR Secretary-General Rafizi Ramli has vehemently denied having any ties with Red Shirts leader Jamal Yunos, let alone providing the latter with documents.
The Pandan MP said this in a brief statement today, in reply to Jamal claiming in his police report that Rafizi was one of the “sources” who had provided him with documents purportedly showing that electoral watchdog Bersih 2.0 had been infiltrated by the Islamic State (IS) militant group.
“I’ve never known Jamal, have never spoken to Jamal, have no relations with Jamal, have never exchanged blows with Jamal, and have never eaten Jamal’s ikan bakar,” he said.
“He (Jamal) is the biggest clown in Umno and every day, Umno leaders get headaches thinking of how to deal with this clown, who is becoming more irritating.”

Jamal: Rafizi gave me evidence on IS link to Bersih
UALA LUMPUR: Red Shirts movement leader Jamal Yunos today handed in evidence to the police at Bukit Aman purportedly linking terror group Islamic State with Bersih 2.0.
Accompanied by a convoy of 50 motorcyclists, the Sungai Besar Umno division chief claimed that the proof was handed to him by PKR Vice-President Rafizi Ramli.
Rafizi has since denied the claim.
“Everything is in these documents which I will now present to the police.
“According to trusted sources, they have been infiltrated by IS,” he told reporters.
Some of the evidence, Jamal claimed, was obtained from Rafizi around a month ago.
He, however, refused to show reporters examples of proof, or to divulge the nature of the links between the two groups.
“If I were to show you anything, I might as well open up the documents here,” he said, cradling the stack of some 22 pages of documents.

.@bersih2 denies terror and siege allegations, mulls legal action
Bersih has denied the allegations by Red Shirts leader Jamal Md Yunos and is mulling legal action over the issue.
“Bersih has no connection with any terrorist groups whatsoever.
“We have no plans to gather at any airports in Malaysia and will follow the convoy and rally schedule as publicised in our media statements, website and social media.
“The allegations are baseless and are made with ill intentions to strike fear and violence,” said its steering committee in a media statement.
The committee said it is also assessing all legal options in dealing with such malicious allegations and will hold all those responsible who fabricate and circulate them.

Jamal claims @bersih2 wants to surround Putrajaya, infiltrated by IS

Red Shirts leader Jamal Md Yunos levelled a series of bizarre and serious allegations against Bersih, including its purported plan to surround Putrajaya and airports during its Nov 19 rally.
The allegation comes amid questions on whether the electoral watchdog would be able to convince a large number of Malaysians, who are said to be politically fatigued, to take to the streets like its previous rallies, let alone lay siege to the administrative capital.
Jamal also claimed to have been informed by reliable sources that Islamic State (IS) operatives have infiltrated Bersih.
Apart from this, Jamal said that Red Shirts would mobilise its members against Bersih’s nationwide convoy, which commences Oct 1.
Calling it the “Red Shirts Version 2”, he said: “We will go down to every flag-off location that they (Bersih) announced yesterday.”
The six locations are Kota Baru, Johor Baru, Perlis, Sandakan, Miri and Lumut.
