KOTA KINABALU: Police arrested a chef last night to facilitate probe into dissemination of false information on decapitated bodies of children here.
The 25-year-old man, who holds a Philippine passport, was believed to be the owner of the Facebook account “Radzlan Razz”, who posted gruesome photos of headless body and decapitated heads of three children.
City police chief Assistant Commissioner M Chandra said police arrested the man at a restaurant in the Waterfront area at 8.45pm. “We have raided his rented room and seized several belongings for investigation,” he said, today.

Police rubbish claim over murder of 3 Filipino children
KOTA KINABALU: The police have rubbished a claim that three Filipino children from Sepanggar were kidnapped and murdered, as posted on the Facebook account of one Radzlan Razz on Nov 3.
Kota Kinabalu City police chief ACP M Chandra said the claim that two of the bodies were found in Kampung Delima while the third was located in Sembulan was untrue.
In a statement today, he said action would be taken against any individual or party responsible for spreading the false statement.
Chandra said the police were investigating the case under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act and urged the owner of the ‘Radzlan Razz’ Facebook account to contact the police.

KOTA KINABALU: Pictures showing decapitated bodies of children allegedly taken in the State capital have recently surfaced on Facebook, raising concern and fear among the local residents.
Four pictures, posted by user Radzlan Razz at 10.24pm on Nov 3, showed decapitated heads of three children and a headless body.

The account owner also made an announcement, claiming the bodies of “Filipino children aged between eight and 12” were discovered at Kampung Delima, Sepanggar and Sembulan.
However, city police chief Assistant Commissioner M Chandra today denied any such incident, adding the rumours were false.
