In 1917 an all-black military unit was sent to segregated Houston. When police assaulted a black woman and shot at two men in their unit, they organized and fought back. 4 police were killed, Martial Law declared. 19 of the soldiers ended up being executed, 41 sentenced to life. https://t.co/7Q3gZ0090a
