KUALA LUMPUR: After four years, the defence and prosecution in the case of army pathologist Dr R.Kunaseegaran and five men who were charged with the murder of deputy public prosecutor Datuk Anthony Kevin Morais wrapped up the case today.

High Court judge Datuk Azman Abdullah fixed July 10 to decide whether the six will walk out of the courtroom as free men or sentence them to the gallows.

The judge fixed the date after both parties completed dealing with issues during the trial in their closing submissions to prove their respective cases.

Dr. Kunaseegaran, 56, S.Ravichandran, 49, S. Nimalan, 24; R. Dineshwaran, 25; A. K. Thinesh Kumar, 24; and M. Vishwanath, 27 are jointly charged with murdering Morais, 55, between 7am and 8pm on Sept 4, 2015, while the victim was on his way from Jalan Dutamas Raya Sentul to No. 1 Jalan USJ1/6D, Subang Jaya.
