KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) Coalition today offered the services of its 2,000 members to help maintain security during the Bersih 5.0 assembly if it is held in an enclosed area on Nov 19.

Its chairman, Datuk Jamal Md Yunos, said his group was ready to help out to ensure that the Bersih 5.0 assembly went smoothly if it was held in places such as the Shah Alam Stadium.

He spoke to reporters after a discussion on the Bersih 5.0 assembly with Dang Wangi District Police chief ACP Zainol Samah here.
