Jubilee Walk: 8km trail of Singapore’s iconic locations launched
The Jubilee Walk is an eight-kilometre trail which takes visitors through iconic locations in Singapore’s civic district and Marina Bay area.

Participants began the trail at the National Museum of Singapore and passed iconic sites including the Central Fire Station, Old Hill Street Police Station, and the National Gallery Singapore, which is housed within the former Supreme Court and City Hall.
“It’s like a documentary for the children and myself. We learnt a lot of things that we really didn’t know,” commented a participant of the Jubilee Big Walk.
The walk also took participants through the floating platform at Marina Bay, where the SG Heart Map Festival is located. Over there, they saw exhibits documenting the places closest to the hearts of Singaporeans, before making their way to the end point at Gardens by the Bay.
Maps and booklets for self-guided tours can be found at all museums that are part of the trail. Free guided tours will be held next year, and they will be conducted by volunteer guides.
Mr Lee also launched the Jubilee Bridge, which connects Merlion Park with the waterfront promenade by the Esplanade and offers a panoramic view of the city skyline.
