Former Special Branch deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador has called on Rosmah Mansor to issue a denial herself instead of relying on her aide, Rizal Mansor.
“Is Rosmah willing to make a denial herself? Can’t she speak for herself? She must answer,” Hamid told Malaysiakini today.
This came in relation to Hamid’s allegation that the prime minister’s wife was present at a high-level meeting involving her husband and top officials.
Hamid had asked Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi if his transfer from the Special Branch to the Prime Minister’s Department was decided at this meeting.
Riza had dismissed this claim as nonsense.
Meanwhile, Hamid claimed that Rosmah was concerned that he would reveal more about her and that was the reason she was using her aide to dispel the allegations.
He also accused the prime minister’s wife of “troubling” his officers.
Hamid said when Rosmah went shopping, his officers were forced to escort her and wait for a long time until she was done.

ADDING INSULT (HE HAS ‘BRAIN DAMAGE’) TO INJURY (IMMEDIATE TRANSFER)…
Free Malaysia Today
Zahid: Former SB director has ‘brain damage’
Dismisses Hamid Bador’s request for an explanation of his sudden transfer out of the police force to the PM’s department.
PUTRAJAYA: Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi yesterday dismissed suggestions by former police special branch deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador that his unusual transfer was linked to the sacking of former Attorney-General Abdul Gani Patail.
“Kepala dia dah masuk air,” the Rakyat Post reported Zahid as replying sarcastically, a phrase roughly equivalent to saying that someone had “water on the brain,” a layman reference to a medical condition known as hydrocephalus, an abnormal build-up of fluid in brain ventricles which may cause brain damage.
Hamid had yesterday called on Zahid to explain his sudden transfer out of the police force purportedly to head a security unit in the Prime Minister’s department looking into international crime, suggesting that the transfer itself was unusual because the order came from the home minister.
“I want an answer from Zahid himself as he was the one who verbally informed me of the transfer and must know the reason,” he said.

Ex-SB man: Was it because of my talks with Gani?
Former deputy director demands answers from Zahid, says bullying of civil servants must end
KUALA LUMPUR: A former senior Special Branch officer has called for an end to “bullying of civil servants” by political leaders and questioned whether he was transferred on short notice because of his meeting with Gani Patail before Gani was dismissed as Attorney-General, or because of an “urgent meeting” chaired by the prime minister, Najib Razak.
Abdul Hamid Bador, former deputy director of Special Branch, demanded an answer from the home minister, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Hamid said in a statement tonight that his transfer to the Prime Minister’s Department was unusual because the order came from the home minister. “I want an answer from Zahid himself as he was the one who verbally informed me of the transfer and must know the reason,” he said.
As home minister Zahid has political supervision over the police force. The Special Branch is the police intelligence unit which usually looks into matters of internal security.
Hamid had served 37 years with the Special Branch before his transfer was ordered last month. He has taken leave pending a decision whether to accept the transfer. He said there was no job awaiting him at the PM’s Department. The government has previously said he was being made deputy director of a security unit looking into international crime.
He said he was ready to accept his fate, but did not want other civil servants to similarly face such action. “This heinous act of bullying civil servants by political leaders must be stopped,” he said.
Hamid said he had met Gani Patail two nights before Gani was dismissed.
“I admit that I was at Gani’s house for almost an hour and a half. Many things were discussed. I admit that Gani had before this frequently asked the Special Branch for views on various cases, especially on their impact on national security.
“If this is why Ahmad Zahid is now punishing me, then he is a cruel man. Doesn’t he realise that I am a career officer in the Royal Police Force and not a political lackey?” he asked.

Even SB officers are drawing the line in the sand
YOURSAY ‘There are still God-fearing people left in government.’‘Gang Hang Tuah aims to kill 1MDB issue’
Swipenter: PM Najib Razak and Umno have been using national interests and/or security to cover up 1MDB. The truth of the matter is covering up truths is damaging to the nation’s interests in the long run.
How many “truths” have the Umno regime covered up since independence? If such truths were exposed, would the 1MDB scandal be able to materialise and hatched by those occupying the highest office of Bolehland?
Not likely, because politicians know they are being assessed and watched by the people all the time.
But now those in power are misusing their office and abusing their power to plunder the country for themselves knowing that they have immunity and are beyond and above the law.
Just see how the hunters become the hunted in the investigation of 1MDB. The ‘guilty’ ones now are running with the hares and hunting with the hounds.
Dirdseye: “I will expose this Si Kitol’s name soon,” said former Special Branch deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador.
It will be interesting to watch how this turns out. In a situation like this, the best way to stay alive is to tell all and quickly. As a former SB No 2, he must be aware of this.
Headhunter: Many have said it before, there are many good and upright officers in the police force.
But like other government agencies, only the bad ones seem to be promoted due to their willingness to carry out dirty tasks for their political masters. It’s so sad because it tainted the whole force.
One can feel the disappointment that good men in the force have to endure. Like the rest of us, they only want to do their jobs professionally but are prevented from doing so by rogue officers who betrayed their fellow officers.
Lamborghini: Abdul Hamid, please expose the scandal and do the nation and rakyat a great favour. God will protect you and the rakyat will thank you for your courage.
Don’t be intimidated by Si Kitol and his gang. They will reap the dire consequences of their treacherous acts.
Hank Marvin: The police’s Special Branch used to be the sitting government leaders’ lackeys, including when former opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was sacked but now it seems to have changed. Interesting.

Transferred deputy director tells of secret Hang Tuah Gang led by ‘Si Kitol’ behind disinformation
KUALA LUMPUR: A secret Hang Tuah Gang is behind moves to suppress exposure of the controversial government investment arm 1Malaysia Development Bhd, according to Abdul Hamid Bador, the former deputy director of Special Branch and self-declared Mahathir loyalist.
Abdul Hamid vowed to expose the mastermind, whom he described as a “Si Kitol” a reference to the Malaccan insider who revealed the secrets of the port city to the invading Portuguese fleet in 1511, according to a news report.
“I will expose this Si Kitol’s name soon,” he told Malaysiakini, after being asked about a message circulated online announcing a purported press conference by him, supposedly on a police report he would make against Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his attempt to oust prime minister Najib Razak.
Abdul Hamid was ordered last week to report to the Prime Minister’s Department to take up new duties as deputy director of a unit on international security and transnational crime. His transfer has given rise to speculation about the reason for the move, coming soon after similar transfers of two senior anti-corruption officers (since rescinded) and others involved in the 1MDB investigation.
However, last week Abdul Hamid declared his loyalty to Dr Mahahir and said he would never betray “the servant of Allah who has done so much for the country”.
Dr Mahathir has been at the forefront of a relentless campaign for months, attempting to force Najib out of office because of the affairs of 1MDB. He has now called for a confidence motion against Najib in Parliament and is attempting to rally Barisan and opposition MPs to support the motion.
Abdul Hamid did not name those in the Hang Tuah Gang, whom he blamed for spreading the fake message about his press conference to expose Dr Mahathir. “I am sure it is those from the Hang Tuah team who is responsible for this disinformation, including the one known as Si Kitol,” he was quoted as telling Malaysiakini. “I will expose this Si Kitol’s name soon.”
He said the Hang Tuah Gang wanted to suppress questions about 1MDB and was “willing to kiss hands to safeguard personal interests”.

SB man told to coax Dr M not to attack Najib
Former police special branch deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador revealed he had been ordered to meet former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamed to persuade him not to openly attack Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

“Three years ago, I met Tun to talk about this,” he told a press conference in Kota Damansara today.
He claimed that he had met the former prime minister on several occasions over the last three years.

‘1MDB witnesses hidden by certain powers’
There are efforts by ‘certain powers’ to hide main witnesses involved in the 1MDB scandal, claimed the former police special branch deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador.
Without going into details, he said one of main witnesses was previously hidden in Indonesia and Thailand, and is now in hiding in New Zealand.
“There are efforts to hide 1MDB’s main witnesses. They are those wanted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

SB man: I was transferred for wanting truth on 1MDB http://twib.in/l/jgpqqaKM5eK | https://twibble.io

Special Branch (SB) deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador believes he was transferred out of the department because of his insistence the 1MDB probe be conducted in a fully transparent manner.
The SB veteran added his 37 years of service may have ended suddenly with a transfer to the Prime Minister’s Department may have been because he did not want to carry out certain parties’ “agenda”.
“They may be worried about my loyalty to carry out a certain agenda. I am a professional and whatever I investigate, that is exactly what I will produce,” Bador said at a press conference this morning.
“We will not change the report to say otherwise. We will reveal the truth of the matter, and perhaps they don’t like that and want to hear something nice instead.
“They want to ‘syok sendiri’ (kid themselves),” he quipped.
“Maybe (I was transferred) also because I always call for the 1MDB probe to be conducted transparently,” he added.

SB deputy director’s transfer normal, says IGP
Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar has denied that the transfer of special branch deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador to the Prime Minister’s Department was part of a cleansing process.
In a media statement today, he said the transfer was normal and allegations to the contrary were slanderous.
Khalid also claimed Abdul Hamid was aware of the transfer, which was offered to him after the latter withdrew his intention to retire early.
“Abdul Hamid was never directed to take leave as it was his own application, for the purpose of him to take a rest,” he said in relation to certain media reports which made the claim.
“The transfer is a recognition of his ability and experience to handle issues related to security.
“His transfer is not out of the ordinary as prior to this, former IGP Bakri Omar, and other senior officers like Zaman Khan and Zulkifli Md Noor and myself, were transferred to other agencies,” he added.

Livid SB No 2 clueless over transfer to PM’s Dept
Former Special Branch (SB) deputy director Abdul Hamid Bador is incensed over his transfer to the Prime Minister’s Department.
Abdul Hamid, who has been with the police for 37 years, received his letter of transfer yesterday.
However, he does not know the reason for this.
“I don’t know why I was transferred. Maybe they don’t want me to be there,” a livid Abdul Hamid told Malaysiakini.
“With regard to my transfer, you have to ask the IGP (Khalid Abu Bakar), because it was him who confirmed the letter of transfer,” he added.
Pressed further, Abdul Hamid said he was actually “fine” with being transferred anywhere.
“I’m okay, I have no problem, anywhere. Don’t ask me why I was transferred, you should ask them. I don’t want to speculate,” he said.
Asked whether his transfer had anything to do with Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, he said: “No comment”.
