PETALING JAYA: A video of former DAP leader Hew Kuan Yau claiming that Lim Kit Siang is using Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to oust the Prime Minister has gone viral.
In a video posted on the MyNation News Facebook page Monday, Hew, who is commonly known as “Superman” for his fondness for wearing T-shirts bearing the superhero’s crest, went on to coin the phrase “qi ma sa ji”, which he explained, meant “to ride a horse to kill a chicken”.
“We use Mahathir to slay the chicken,” he said in the 43-second clip, claiming that the DAP adviser had looked for many ways to “save Malaysia”, which included using the former premier.
“We (DAP) saved Mahathir and we are using him as a tool to defeat Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak,” he claimed.
Hew alleged that Lim had used Dr Mahathir, who is also Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman, for the Save Malaysia campaign.
“If you want me to be quiet, I will only get louder, only then will you be afraid,” said Hew.
It was, however, unclear who the message was directed to.
Hew, who was the Teluk Intan DAP chief, quit the party in July, saying that the move was “in light of the big picture”.
He said DAP’s political opponents had been using him as an excuse to attack the party, adding that his words were “twisted” by cybertroopers.
