MACC visit to Guan Eng’s home not a raid, says Gobind
The Star today reported that Lim’s house was being raided while he and his wife were being questioned at the MACC building at Jalan Ahmad Shah.
The English daily reported they left the premises accompanied by their lawyers RSN Rayer and Ramkarpal Singh Deo, at 2.55pm.
When contacted, Rayer said that the five MACC officers who came in three cars, visited the CM’s home for a “routine inspection”.
“They came to CM’s home after taking further statements from him and his wife,” Rayer added.
“The officers left about 4pm and said nothing further,” Rayer said.
