A Malaysia That Is Not Afraid Of Balloons?

To many people in Malaysia, the political situation in the country seems to be getting more and more out of control.

In fact, some even say current developments are turning our beloved nation into a circus!

With this in mind, everyone’s favourite art bazaar, “Art For Grabs“, is sarcastically commemorating this ‘carnival’ by inviting people to celebrate freedom, justice, and democracy with some creativity and craziness!

Collaborating with Amnesty International Malaysia, Lawyers For Liberty & SUARAM — all of them working daily to protect human rights — the event will have over 80 booths of arts, crafts, causes and surprises, plus 11 events.

This latest edition of the bazaar, named “ART FOR GRABS: Have a balloon!” will be held at The School, Jaya One, on April 2nd and 3rd, from 12 pm to 8 pm.

The special events for Saturday, April 2nd are:

POLITIKO: KLASH OF THE TITANS (12 pm)

Politiko is a beloved Malaysian card game that makes it possible for anyone to win an election.

This tournament will see 5 notable personalities including Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar, Serdang MP Ong Kian Ming, human rights lawyer Edmund Bon Tai Soon, political scientist Wong Chin Huat taking on each other to regain Putrajaya via Politiko and raise fund for an NGO of their choice.
