The MOM is the Ministry of Manpower.

Class Action Suit against the MTF, MOM and MOH

We are pleased to inform our readers that the Class Action suit (CA) against the MTF, MOM and MOH for discriminatory policies against the unvaccinated has been officially filed.
The documents have been served on the Attorney-General’s Chambers and a pre-Trial conference has been scheduled for 12 January 2022 at 9.30 am.
The CA originally contained 20 litigants, but due to personal reasons (peer pressure mostly), a few have decided not to be listed as litigants but would extend their support for the suit in other ways. Some of the original litigants were removed from the list as they have proceeded to get themselves vaccinated (mostly under MTF pressure) and therefore lost their locus standi to continue with the lawsuit.
The following is an official statement by Carson Law Chambers, the law firm acting for the plaintiffs who have registered with TR Emeritus (TRE).
On a related note, we regret to inform that TRE has yet to achieve the targeted crowdfund amount of S$50,000, only about S$26,000 has been collected to date. TRE will on our end, continue to crowdfund throughout the entire duration of the CA, till the targetted amount has been reached.
