JMM claims two parties, four NGOs funded by Soros
Two political parties and four non-governmental organisations (NGOs), currently in the process of approval with the Registrar of Societies (ROS), had received foreign funding to topple the government, alleged Jaringan Melayu Malaysia (JMM) president Azwanddin Hamzah.
He was quoted as saying this in the New Straits Times, after submitting a memorandum to the ROS yesterday, calling for a detailed probe into the matter.
Azwanddin claimed that he had evidence in the form of photographs, of meetings between the individuals (from the said parties and NGOs) and their foreign funders, including American billionaire George Soros.
Besides Soros, Azwanddin also claimed these parties and NGOs were receiving funds from the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA), and other organisations based in the United States.
He urged the ROS to review the procedures to approve the establishment of such parties and called for immediate action into the matter, failing which he would reveal the identity of those who received the foreign funding.
