Goat-cha! Thieves too slow to make getaway
BATU GAJAH: A group of thieves successfully loaded five goats into the back seat of a Perodua Myvi.
But it took them too long to move the loot from the farm where they had taken the animals from and ended up being caught.
Relating the 2.30am incident on Friday, Batu Gajah OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Nasri Omar said one suspect was caught red-handed at the goat farm located near the district’s rubbish disposal site in Jalan Tanjung Tualang by members of the public and was handed over to police.
“It is believed that the suspect had six accomplices but they managed to get away,” he said.
However, police managed to catch two of the accomplices later.
