BUTTERWORTH: More than a hundred parents of students from SMK Tasek Mutiara in Simpang Ampat here held a protest outside the school.
.
The parents gathered to demand answers and solutions from the school authorities over claims that their children were repeatedly beaten by a group of students in the school.
.
The parents also claimed that the principal, when told of the beating had blamed the students who were beaten – the victims instead of the perpetrators.
.
A father of a Form Three student Raman Ramasamy, 43, claimed the school had kicked his son out of the school after his son complained that he was beaten by the group of boys.
.
“Instead of being impartial and putting a stop to the fights, the teachers had instead blamed the victims and told them to behave and even kicked some students out,” he said when met outside the school here yesterday.

The parents dispersed at about 2pm after being refused entry into the school.

Perkara ini perlu diberi perhatian serius oleh Pihak PPD dan JPN. Memandangkan laporan Polis Diraja Malaysia ( Royal Malaysia Police ) sudah dibuat, kita beri ruang untuk pihak berkuasa bersama2 dengan Kementerian Pendidikan untuk menyiasat perkara ini.

Jangan kita cemarkan sekolah dan institusi…
