Me’nate Steak Hub denies links to PM’s wagyu beef dinner
Swipenter: I am complaining that my breakfast consisting of a bowl of curry laksa and my glass of teh si kosong cost me respectively RM6 and RM2.
RM8 in total and it bites my pocket. RM20,000 for a 2kg wagyu beef dinner is obscene.

Unlike PM Najib Razak, who dares not take any legal action but instead give all sorts of excuses.
Turvy: In a country that has banished truth and changed the meaning of words so that false is truth and truth false, this restaurant’s receipt tells the truth, particularly if it is false.
You cannot build a nation on lies and then expect its people to search for truth. Only lies countering lies will bring forth the truth.
Vijay47: The Me’nate management (I have never even heard of the place) says that it does not make any sense for rice and side dishes to be served at a dinner of steak and Matsusaka (I have never even heard of the dish).

By the way, Malaysiakini, congratulations on the photo accompanying this news – for a report relating to steak, you chose a photo of a cow. Make that two.

Besides, a kilo of beef for gluttons is nothing; their capacious bellies can take much more than that.

BernieBaby: Halal or haram? Wagyu beef cows are feed alcohol which gives their meat a distinctive taste. You can pray and kill the animal anyway you wish, but it’s still alcohol.

Me’nate Steak Hub menafikan laporan media sosial yang menunjukkan tanda harga daging yang kononnya di sediakan di Seri Perdana baru-baru ini. Setelah kami menyemak tanda harga tersebut adalah PALSU dan tidak terdapat di dalam sistem inventori kami. Tanda harga serta nota berikut semacam dirancang untuk dipamerkan itu tidak sama dengan tanda harga standard yang digunakan oleh Me’nate Steak Hub di semua outlet kami ditambah pula semua tanda harga kami mempunyai barcoding yang tersendiri berbeza dengan apa yang telah diviralkan. Hidangan yang dipamerkan juga tidak masuk akal. Jika makan steak dan Matsusaka manakan boleh ada nasi dan lauk lauk lain. Gambar tukang masak juga bukan Chef dari Me’nate. Kami berasa amat amat dukacita dengan usaha pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan politik untuk mengheret kami ke dalam kancah Politik FITNAH yang tidak bertanggungjawab ini.
Pihak kami sedang merancang serta sedang mendapatkan nasihat peguam kami dan sedang di dalam proses untuk menasihatkan kami akan bentuk tindakan undang-undang yang sesuai diambil terhadap mana-mana pihak yang menyebarkan KEPALSUAN & FITNAH ini. The dish on display also doesn’t make sense. If eating a steak and matsusaka where there should be a side dish of rice and other side dishes. A Picture of a cook too not chef from me ‘ Nate. We feel very very grief with effort the parties who it may concern politics to drag us into political theatre of libel are not responsible for this.
We’re planning parties are getting advice as well as our attorney and was in the process to advised we’ll form of legal action taken against the appropriate everywhere the spreading lie & this slander. If this is not stopped and continuous us no other choice other than to make a police report next take follow up action.

Me’nate Steak Hub denies links to PM’s Wagyu beef dinner
The management of Me’nate Steak Hub has denied any links to the purported steak dinner served at Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s official residence that costed nearly RM20,000 for a 2kg slice of Matsusaka Wagyu beef.
In a posting on its official Facebook page, the management of Me’nate said that it is currently seeking advice on whether to pursue legal actions against the parties that had spread the false rumour.
“Based on our checks, the price tag (for the steak) is fake and not found in our inventory system.
“The price tag and accompanying note is not the same as the standard ones used by Me’nate Steak Hub at all of our outlets. Furthermore, all our price tags are individually barcoded and different than the one that had gone viral,” it said.

Commenting on the photograph of Najib and Rosmah at the supposed dinner, Me’nate in its post said the dishes served “does not make sense”.
“If they were eating steak and Matsusaka (at that), how can there be rice and other side dishes?
“The photo of the chef is also not a chef from Me’nate,” it added.
In urging all parties to stop dragging its name into politics and slander, Me’nate’s management stressed that it would not hesitate to lodge a police report and pursue further actions if the rumours continued.
