Extra-marital affair proves fatal for Mentakab man

It was learnt that the man had been staying at the hotel for three days with his secret lover.
A source said the incident was related to jealousy, and that the man was having an affair with a married woman.

KUALA LUMPUR: A 43-year-old man was shot in the head and killed instantly while leaving a budget hotel in Jalan Kuchai Lama here this evening.
Brickfields police chief Assistant Commissioner Sharul Othman Mansor said witnesses claim that the man was shot by a suspect on a motorcycle, who then fled the scene.
“The suspect was wearing a helmet and a mask during the 6.15pm incident.

死者被指常携带一名中国籍女伴在现场附近用餐，不过案发时，仅他孤身一人；警方迄今未证实此案动机，详情有待调查。

Man shot dead at Kuchai Business Park
KUUALA LUMPUR: A 43-year-old man was shot dead outside a budget hotel at the Kuchai Business Park here.

According to ACP Sharul, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his right temple.
He said checks revealed that the victim, who was from Mentakab, Pahang, had two previous records for drug-related cases and was wanted for one of them.
He added that police would look into all CCTV footage nearby the scene and speak to more witnesses.
