Saiful gets a taste of what might await him when he goes on the campaign trail…
Have you no shame? – Saiful Bukhari booed at PD nomination centre
PORT DICKSON: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan (pic), who is contesting as an independent candidate in the Port Dickson polls, has experienced a rough start to his campaign with jeers directed at him on nomination day (Sept 29).
When Returning Officer Khairy Maamor announced his candidacy at the nomination centre in the Port Dickson Municipal Council hall, he was loudly booed.
Some even shouted: “Tak tahu malu kah” (Have you have no shame?).
The jeering appear to contradict Pakatan Harapan’s pledge to not resort to personal attacks in the election campaigns. PKR secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution had on Friday (Sept 28) said: “If they throw s*** at us, we will give them flowers”.
Anwar, who spoke at a press conference shortly afterwards, said he would advise his supporters not to resort to personal attacks, but he also said Saiful’s “malicious” accusations in the past should be taken into account.
“I will advise them, of course. But then, one can appreciate the malicious efforts on his part in the past.
“It is easier to say forgive and move on, but (you) also have to appreciate the concerns of many who were deeply hurt and who suffered in the process.”
Anwar said he was unfazed by the prospects of Saiful using the sodomy allegations as a campaign tactic against him.
“That is his issue, and I don’t want to interfere. I want to focus on my work, and I think the leadership is taking the same decision as well.”

PETALING JAYA: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan will contest in the Port Dickson by-election as an independent candidate.
The former aide to PKR president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told The Star that he will contest on an independent ticket.
“I am contesting purely as an independent without any party backing me.
“Let me set the record straight, I am not contesting because of my past with Datuk Seri Anwar but for other reasons,” he said.
Mohd Saiful said he would reveal more once his nomination as a candidate is confirmed on Saturday (Sept 29).
“I have thought about it thoroughly and I feel it is the right move,” he said.

How Saiful, Shafee, Seah and Supt Pereira sodomised a nation.
The supposed victim
Saiful claims to have been sodomised and was in so much pain, that he did not wash his bottom for days. If he was truly sodomised, why did he not run to the police instead of running to the then deputy PM, Najib Abdul Razak.
Najib claimed that Saiful went to see him about getting a scholarship. Saifuil’s a drop out. Why talk about a scholarship?
The whole Sodomy II trial, including the main players, Saiful, Shafee, Seah and Supt Pereira, are as dirty as Saiful’s bottom.
Of course, all paths lead to one man. He wants to get Anwar out of the way.

Saiful, Najib and Shafee
Two days before the alleged victim of Anwar, Mohd Saiful, pressed charges, the student was identified as having visited the home of Najib himself to discuss the entire matter.
Najib at first denied this fact. However, when photographs were produced he admitted meeting the student, but only to discuss his ‘career plans’. Only after the alleged victim then broke under questioning and confessed he had discussed his allegations against Anwar with Najib did the Prime Minister admit that the discussion had taken place.
Shafee Abdullah has been proven to have been at Najib’s house at the same time. However, the lawyer claims he was not part of the meeting between the Prime Minister and the student – a meeting where legal advice might be considered an obvious priority. Shafee said he was doing something else, somewhere else in the house. Anwar’s legal team contended that to the contrary he was advising the prime minister on handling the student, who went ahead to denounce Anwar two days later (after a further secret meeting with the Deputy Head of Police).
So, why was Najib paying Shafee such a huge sum of money in February 2014, at a time that this lawyer was supposedly contracted into a public role as a special prosecutor in by far the most high profile legal case of the period – a case in which Najib had a very strong interest in the outcome and in which Shafee himself was a material witness?
The Australian barrister Mark Trowell, who acted as an observer at the trial and then wrote a book about the case, has described the entire prosecution as a gross miscarriage of justice full of “glaring anomalies”. Shafee was at the centre of it, so why was Najib paying him over RM5.2 million?
March 7th 2014 a three man Appeal Court panel found Anwar guilty, overturning the judgement of the High Court the previous year in an astounding perversion of justice (normally an acquittal can never be appealed or reversed except in exceptional cases and through a complete re-trial).

Suit against Anwar dropped due to high legal fees, says Saiful
KUALA LUMPUR: Former political aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan says he withdrew his RM50mil defamation suit against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as he could not bear the high legal fees.
Mohd Saiful said although he has a concrete case, the legal process sometimes takes too long.
“I am not able to bear the legal cost. I have to mortgage my property and have to come up and down to court.
“It has been seven years for me to go through legal process to prove the authenticity of the police report that I made in 2008,” he said in a statement sent to the press by his counsel Zamri Idrus on Monday.

Saiful had filed s suit in August 2014 for allegedly being sodomised, and then for defamation over Anwar’s various public statements and media interviews.
“Anwar’s statement had resulted in public scorn in the social media and various websites. I was also ridiculed by Anwar’s supporters,” Saiful had said in his statement of claim.

Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan has dropped his RM50 million defamation suit against jailed former opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar’s lawyer Latheefa Koya said Saiful’s lawyer Zamri Idrus informed the Kuala Lumpur High Court of their decision this morning.
The case management was scheduled to take place there in the chambers of Judicial Commissioner Azizul Azmi Adnan, who was supposed to hear the case next August.
The withdrawal means Saiful would no longer have any claims against Anwar, said Latheefa.
“We are happy because it further reaffirms Anwar’s innocence,” she told reporters.
The complainant gave no reason for the case’s withdrawal or any discussion on costs, she added.
