The 8-episode reality series is aimed at unearthing young Malaysian talents aged 4 to 9 years old. The one hour show is hosted by two of the country’s favourite hosts – Yoon Ng and Rickman Chia. The pairing of the two vibrant hosts is set to inject more fun into this brand new reality series.

A model child

What does it take to be a child model? Loong Wai Ting finds out from the hosts and judges of The Super Cute

NEW, fresh and fun aptly describe ntv7’s The Super Cute, a new model search competition for children that aims to discover one child who has what it takes to be the country’s next top young model.

The youngest contestant is 4 and the oldest 9. Auditions were carried out last May at various locations including Selangor, Malacca and Penang. Of 800 participants, only 70 made it to the second round. Then 20 will be selected to compete for the coveted title of The Super Cute and walk away with RM10,000. Contestants are put through a series of challenges and will be evaluated on creativity, showmanship and self-confidence.

The hosts are Yoon Ng and Rickman Chia while judges include popular TV host and celebrity mum Lynn Lim, ex-radio announcer Linda Ang and well-known children’s portrait photographer Asther Lau.
