Wine, Woman & Pleasure : The Family Of Razak Still Has Tons Of Hidden Billions – They Have To Pretend That They Are Penniless & Victim of Vindictive Politics
Najib Razak apparently has financial problem after his banking accounts have been frozen. The Kuala Lumpur High Court allowed the ex-prime minister to pay RM1 million bail in two installments – a rare arrangement indeed. But when it was later revealed that the judge – Mohd Soffi Abdul Razak – is the younger brother of Benta UMNO state assemblyman Mohd Soffi, everything makes sense.
Najib’s supporters, however, were quick to set up a fund to solicit donation from the people to help the scandal-plagued ex-PM pay the remainder of the bail. Actually, this is an exaggerated drama. UMNO, the party led by Najib before he resigned, has a staggering 3-million members. If each of them contributes RM1, there would be RM3 million already.
And if each of them donates RM10, the so-called poor Najib would be flushed with RM30 million to not only pay his bail, but also to pay the super lawyer Shafee. Therefore, money is not an issue to Najib and his family. Even without the donation box, the family has hundreds of millions, even billions, stashed either in overseas or kept by cronies or friends in the country.
Obviously, the crooked family cannot show they still have truckloads of money as the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) is watching their every single move. Hence, they have to pretend that they are penniless. Judging by how the donation box collects hundreds of thousands of ringgit so far, one cannot underestimate the stupidity of UMNO fans.
It’s amazing the MACC hadn’t arrested and charged the drama queen Nooryana for her inability to justify how she, despite being jobless, could afford to live in luxury condominium – Pavilion Residences. Ahh, but Najib and Rosmah claimed that their son-in-law, Daniyar Nazarbayev, is extremely rich. After all, Daniyar is the stepson of Bolat Nazarbayez, who is the younger brother of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
In reality, Daniyar himself was a scammer who had cheated his stepfather’s US$20 million condominium in New York. Najib and Rosmah’s son-in-law had also allegedly falsified documents to enable him to study at Columbia University in America. Heck, even Daniyar’s mother, Maira Kesikbayev, was a con artist whom Bolat discovered (to his horror) was already married when she met him.
Nope, Najib and Rosmah’s son-in-law isn’t rich. It is believed that Nooryana Najwa and Daniyar Nazarbayev’s wedding in 2015 which was so lavish that RM3 million was spent on flowers alone, had probably used Malaysian taxpayers’ money. Mahathir said he was shocked at the lavishness when he attended their 2011 engagement ceremony – 16 barrels of watches, shoes, clothes etc.
There must be a good reason why Najib and Rosmah’s daughter Nooryana Najwa and son Norashman personal bank accounts have been frozen by the anti-corruption commission. Nooryana can always sue the new government if her accounts were truly squeaky clean without any hanky-panky transactions but were being discriminately targeted by MACC.
Another son of Najib – Mohd Nazifuddin – was spotted spending quality time in Taipei with a Taiwanese actress on Thursday (July 5), just a day after his father was arrested and charged for corruption. As reported by Apple Daily Taiwan, Mr. Nazifuddin was seen wining and dining with the woman at a steak restaurant in Taipei’s top luxury shopping district near Taipei 101.
Nazifuddin and Celia Chang (張東晴), a 34-year-old Taiwanese actress, spent more than three hours at Morton’s The Steakhouse inside the Breeze Xinyi shopping mall, laughing and clinking glasses as if nothing had happened. Apple Daily claimed that at least two bottles of red wine were consumed. Najib’s son, instead of worrying about his father, appeared to be relaxed and in good spirits.
Interestingly, Nazifuddin, second son of ex-premier Najib Razak, was allegedly involved in UFUN Ponzi Scheme. The Get-Rich-Scheme had allegedly swindled 120,000 people involving at least 38 billion baht (US$1.13 billion, £720 million, RM4 billion) in Thailand about 3 years ago. Yes, like his daddy’s 1MDB Ponzi Scheme, Nazifuddin had his own UFUN Ponzi Scheme too.
You have Nooryana Najwa bitching about her accounts being frozen. And you have Nazifuddin having pleasure with a Chinese chick just a day after his father was arrested. Clearly the Razak family has been living lavishly. Their problem isn’t about money. Their problem is about their inability to spend freely like a king. They still have shiploads of money well hidden elsewhere.

It’s all in the Family. Look at Numbers 1-10.
Perkara beginilah yang harus rakyat risaukan sebab ianya salah satu daripada berjuta salahguna kuasa Najib sebagai PM Malaysia. Bukannya risau soal Tun Mahathir calon PM dari Pakatan Harapan.

The dance floor at Zouk Singapore cleared within five minutes after Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s son Norashman started his set on the turntable.
This is according to a freelance DJ, who was present at the club last Saturday when DJ Fila, who is one half of popular Egyptian trance duo Aly & Fila, was purportedly told to stop playing in order for Norashman to take the stage.
“The ‘VIP guest’ (Norashman) started his set with a classic trance song.
“After that, it sounded like radio hits and all of Fila’s fans pretty much left the club,” the 27-year-old freelance DJ, identified only as Nuwan, told Singapore’s New Paper.
Controversy over yet another member of Najib’s family
YOURSAY | ‘Norashman thought he is in Bolehland, but Singapore is a different…’
CQ Muar: Aide to PM’s wife Rizal Mansor, don’t be too hasty to defend your boss’ son with lame excuses. We understand your job is to speak on behalf of Rosmah Mansor, but don’t presume we are dumb.
You claim Norashman Najib is acknowledged for his skill and talent in handling the turntable, which raised questions on whether you actually know what the fuss is all about.
Norashman was perhaps trying to push his weight around in Singapore as a Malaysian PM’s son. Wrong place and wrong people to show off, I’m afraid. Not in Singapore, anyway.
RM2.6 Billion Turkey Haram: If there is no truth to this incident, Fadi Wassef Naguib (Fila) would have just sign off for the day and hand over to Norashman gracefully.
When it is revealed that Zouk is owned by Genting, it is not surprising that such an incident took place.
Many children of Malaysian VVIPs are known to have thrown their weight around locally or internationally, especially if the organisations or institutions have Malaysian connections.
More importantly, why did Norashman frequent such a place, one which is shunned by Muslims here? Or maybe, when overseas, different rules apply.
When a poor Muslim eking out a small income in an outlet selling beer, the ulama were up in arms, forcing him to quit the job.
So now, what have the ulama got to say about the PM’s son frequenting such a place?
Res Ipsa: Yes, I wonder what Ashman was drinking at Zouk, teh tarik or some bottle of vintage liquor? Don’t these clubs survive on the sale of expensive alcoholic drinks?
There is no need to be a rocket scientist to figure out why Zouk had to take good care of its VVIP customer.
Mojo Jojo: Well, I guess those who are into the club scene know which club is on the no-go list. And, Fila, salute to your artistic integrity.
Wira: Never mind. With some money, Fila can be coaxed to change his story. He may tell the world that it is a misunderstanding.
Anonymous_1398751861: Of course. He made it clear that he is ‘The Son of the Prime Minister’ and the Zouk management sought to curry favour with the VVIP and told the ‘lowlife’ Egyptian DJ to take a hike, right?
But my question is, who is the real lowlife here?

Mr Rizal Mansor, aide to Mr Najib Razak’s wife, Mrs Rosmah Mansor, said her youngest son, Mr Norashman Najib, had gone to Zouk on an invitation but had not asked to perform there, reported Malaysian news website Malaysiakini.
In a Facebook post yesterday, Mr Rizal wrote: “So how could Norashman force anyone (so that he could perform)?”
He added that Mr Norashman was invited by the club’s management to perform as the finishing act due to his DJing skills.
Referring to Mr Norashman by his nickname, he added: “Taking into account that it was an acknowledgment of his talent and hobby, Ashman agreed to do the performance.”

The start of a great night that didn’t end so well:
First of all Zouk Singapore has been one of my favorite clubs in the world, so sad that my last time playing there ended this way. Before you go through my statement plz remember that I can’t blame Zouk in general as there are a lot of great people working there from audio engineer to VJs etc….
I will make it really easy and clear with a list of facts:
1-my contracted set time was 1:30 – 3:30
2-Zouk’s new owner was hosting a “VIP” guest (the Malaysian PM son)
3-I arrived at Zouk at 1:00 am and had a quick interview.
4-Byden who works for Zouk and who takes care of the artists and the night in general told me I can play until the end. I can finish 4:15 and then play an extra 15 minutes more.
5-I went to the DJ booth they introduced me to the the “VIP Guest” and the new owner of Zouk.
6-started my set at 1:40
7-at 3:30 Byden came to me and asked me if I m willing to play back 2 back with that “VIP” guest and my answer was simple:”no way”
8-I continued playing then 15 mins after Byden came to me and he told me that I will have to stop as the new owner wants the “VIP guest” to play.
There was no misunderstanding!!! And instead of apologizing, Zouk keeps posting those lame statements and articles trying to get away with it.
My advice to Zouk:
1-never disrespect artists who helped you build your brand. I m not saying I built their brand, just talking in general. They need to respect their residents and local talents and their international guests.
2-try to fire your new owner smile emoticon
3-fire the PR team
4-admitting your mistake is Brave, but you aren’t.
I did what I did to defend my right as a human being not as a famous DJ or whatever. I was insulted and I reacted. I didn’t expect that it would go viral like that, but this is what I call Karma. I just wanted to let our fans who payed money to see me know the reason why I stopped my set and I didn’t play the 3 hours like every time I have been there.

DJ who was allegedly told to let M’sian PM’s son perform: ‘They’ve insulted me’ http://ebx.sh/1LQ3kJc
Clubbers upset when DJ storms off stage after allegedly being told to let M’sian PM’s son perform.
They were looking forward to seeing one of their favourite trance DJs playing his set until closing time at about 4.30am, as he usually does when he appears at Zouk.
But at about 3.45am, two hours into DJ Fila’s set, the thumping bass that filled the famous nightclub faded out prematurely, leaving the crowd dismayed.
DJ Fila, who is one half of popular Egyptian trance duo Aly & Fila, was spinning at Zouk last Sunday morning when his set was allegedly interrupted to make way for Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak’s youngest son, Mr Norashman, to play instead.
One of the clubbers who was there, an avid trance music fan who wanted to be known only as Mr Ray, 27, saw a group of people gathering behind the DJ booth at about 3.30am.
“One of them spoke to Fila. After about 10 minutes, he was spoken to again and he didn’t look pleased at all. He then grabbed the microphone and told the crowd that this was his last track,” the financial analyst told The New Paper.
“Initially, we didn’t know what was going on, but halfway through, we realised that he was being told to end his set and it was followed by lots of jeering.”
In a 42-second video posted by Facebook user Derrick Low, Fila, whose real name is Fadi Wassef Naguib, is heard telling the crowd before dropping the microphone: “It seems that Zouk here wants someone else to play. Not only because of that! Because apparently he’s the son of a prime minister.”

The DJ, who was No. 42 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list last year, added: “I’ll see you somewhere in the future. Not in Zouk any more! Because I won’t play in Zouk any-f***ing-more. They’ve insulted me, but I love you guys.”
The video has had more than 167,000 views online.
Another trance music fan, who wanted to be known only as Mr Nuwan, 27, said the dance floor cleared in less than five minutes.
The freelance DJ said: “The ‘VIP guest’ started his set with a classic trance song. After that, it sounded like radio hits and all of Fila’s fans pretty much left the club.
“It was a privilege to have Fila play his set here, but instead, he was asked to share the stage with an amateur. This is truly a disgrace to the music community in Singapore.”

Najib’s son didn’t force anyone out to perform, says Rosmah’s aide
The premier’s son Norashman Najib did not ask to perform at Zouk Singapore, but came to the club on an invitation.
This was clarified by Rizal Mansor, the aide to Norashman’s mother, Rosmah Mansor.
“So how could Norashman force anyone (so that he could perform)?” Rizal said in a Facebook post last night.
The 26-year-old, he said, was invited by the club’s management to perform as the finishing act due to his turntable skills.
“Taking into account that it was an acknowledgment of his talent and hobby, Ashman agreed to do the performance,” said Rizal, referring to Najib’s son by his nickname.
Claiming that Norashman only started performing after the contracted time of the deejay before him had ended, Rizal said there was a misunderstanding between the deejay and the club’s management on the timing of the performance.
“The misunderstanding was between the two parties, it had nothing to do with Ashman. Reports that claim Ashman had forced the club management or the deejays to stop the performance are simply not true.”
It was reported that the popular club had allegedly interrupted renowned Egyptian deejays Aly & Fila’s set so that Norashman could play his own set.

S’pore club interrupts international deejays’ set for Najib’s son?
Popular club Zouk Singapore had allegedly interrupted renowned Egyptian deejays Aly & Fila’s set so that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s son Norashman could play his own set.
The alleged incident, which occurred last Saturday, is being circulated on social media, and a video relating to it has been posted on Facebook and You Tube.
It was also reported in entertainment portals Coconuts Singapore and SAYS.com.
However, in a statement issued later, Zouk denied that the deejays were interrupted midway during their performance.
“Following up from our previous announcement pertaining to Aly & Fila’s gig at Zouk on Saturday night, Zouk would like to clarify that DJ Fadi (Fila) was not at any point of time asked to end his set prematurely before the contracted set end time of 3.30am.
“Zouk has constantly held our invited artists in esteem and respect their works. We understand that this incident has resulted in some discontent and disappointment but would like to give the assurance that Zouk will continue to value the importance and presence of all artists and our customers, and their interests,” it said.
However, the brief statement made no reference to Norashman, 26.

Oliver Weeger Fadi wasn’t “asked to end his set prematurely before the contracted set end time of 3.30am”, but obviously he was asked to end his set around 3:45am, which has so far not been a Zouk policy, since they always allowed guest DJs to play as long as they wanted… So neither Zouk nor Fadi are lying, but obviously Zouk Mgmt. is not telling the full truth…
With regards to last night’s incident that happened at the end of Aly and Fila’s set, we would like to clarify that it was all over a misunderstanding. We respect all our artists and make it a point to ensure that all artists are able to complete their sets without interference. We have reached out to their management and will be releasing an official statement shortly. Zouk values and respects the performances of all our International artists.

The MACC praises itself for its courage in probing even the PM’s wife. It is said that self praise is no praise. Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching asks,”What about Rosmah’s bag and son?”
4:00PM Apr 16, 2015
So Rosmah is benchmark for fear test?
COMMENT Whether or not Abu Kassim intended to use Rosmah as the hallmark of bravado, the undeniable fact is that Najib has a unique problem unlike his predecessors.
Those before him never had to deal, deflect or defend the criticisms against their wives. Even in his ongoing spat with Dr Mahathir Mohamad, there have been those who took potshots at Rosmah. For example, veteran journalist A Kadir Jasin, who in arguing that Muhyiddin Yassin should be the one to succeed Najib if the latter steps down, pointed out that among the qualities the current number two possesses is that his wife is liked by all. He also noted that former premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi did not have an ambitious wife.
So far Mahathir has refrained from walking down that road. But some believe that it is only a matter of time.
Fact Sheet – April 15: ‘Gutsy’ MACC even probed Rosmah
MACC: Not even Rosmah spared from probe
Not even the Prime Minister’s wife is exempted from investigations, says the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC). It investigated the case of the RM24mil ring, allegedly bought by Rosmah Mansor.
Investigations commenced one hour after a complaint at 2pm, followed by a phone call to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak himself.
MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Abu Kassim said,”What I want to say is: we have even probed the Prime Minister’s wife. Do you think we still have anything to be afraid of?”

MP: ‘Fearless’ MACC, what about Rosmah’s bag and son?
A DAP lawmaker has commended the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for probing Rosmah Mansor over the diamond ring saga, but noted that it has yet to look into her son’s wealth, which made international news.
Kulai MP Teo Nie Ching cited how the New York Times report even highlighted Rosmah’s collection of luxury handbags and jewellery on her husband Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s salary of US$100,000 (RM370,000) a year.
“Has MACC initiated a probe on her Hermes Birkin (handbag) and her son’s RM110 million penthouse in New York? “Lavish spending of Najib’s family has even raised eyebrows and questions from New York,” said Teo, who is also DAP assistant national publicity secretary.
The report zoomed in on Rosmah’s son Riza Aziz from her first marriage who has emerged as a prominent film producer in Hollywood. This included his purchase of a US$33.5 million (RM117.5 million) apartment in New York and a house in Beverly Hills worth at least US$17.5 million (RM61.5 million) despite previously being just a junior-level bank officer.
“So my question to (MACC chief) Abu Kassim Mohamed is this: did you initiate a probe on all these?

Wolf of Wall Street funded by corrupt cash, lawsuit claims
Studio that funded Leonardo DiCaprio film is accused of financing movie with embezzled wealth and ‘ill-gotten gains’
The ultimate film about financial racketeering is now accused of being funded by racketeering profits. Guess life imitates art – at least, that’s what the lawsuit brought against the makers of Wolf of Wall Street alleges. The $100 million budget of the Oscar-nominated film is being questioned in Los Angeles court, and its distribution company Red Garnite Pictures is being sued for racketeering. Dumb and Dumber producers Steve Stabler and Brad Krevoy are suing Red Granite Pictures for being frozen out of the upcoming Jim Carrey sequel, but their lawsuit has just gained a new twist: the pair are now alleging that the studio used embezzled money to fund Wolf of Wall Street. “Red Granite is funded with monies that include proceeds from offenses against a foreign nation that involve bribery of public officials, or misappropriation, theft, or embezzlement of public funds by a public official,” the new complaint reads. The producers cites “published reports that individuals based in Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia and other countries in Asia and the Middle East have engaged in unlawful activities” and gone on to invest their “ill-gotten gains” into Red Granite. Red Granite has called the lawsuit “false, malicious and baseless allegations”. Studio founder Riza Aziz – who is the son of former Malaysian prime minister Tun Abdul Razak – has acknowledged in the past that their investors come mainly from the Middle East and Asia. Aziz doesn’t appear to be too squeaky clean himself, and has been accused of creating his wealth through suspect means. http://www.dazeddigital.com/artsandculture/article/19543/1/wolf-of-wall-street-funded-by-corrupt-cash-embezzled-racketeering-lawsuit-claims — Free Malaysia Today
Protest against ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ draws flak
Use of children in protests is desperate and cowardly act, said NGOs .
GEORGE TOWN: A peaceful protest outside the Jelutong Mosque after Friday prayers with the participation of children has drawn criticism from many quarters here. The children, seen clad in “baju melayu” and “songkok” were seen carrying placards that read “Rosmah isteri PM biayai filem lucah RM300 juta” and “Rosmah Taja Filem Lucah” however appeared oblivious to the presence of policemen and reporters. The protest, allegedly organized by the Jelutong Pas division started at 2.30pm here today and ended some 30 minutes later. It is learnt that the gathering of fewer than 15 individuals, held outside the Masjid Jamek Hashim Yahaya was to protest against the controversial and banned movie: The Wolf of Wall Street, said to be co-produced by the Prime Minister Najib Razak’s step-son, the son of Rosmah Mansor from her previous marriage. Several NGOs chided the act of using children in the protest and deemed it a cowardly and desperate move. Persatuan Kebajikan Insan Mulia’s president Aminah Abdullah who is also former Penang PKR Wanita chief described the protest as “a silly act” for using and manipulating children. “If it is true the protest was organised by Jelutong Pas, then it clearly shows their level of intelligence or rather the lack of, for manipulating and contaminating the minds of innocent children,” she said when contacted. The move was also slammed by Penang Umno Youth who said that it was “abuse towards children”. “It clearly showed that the protest lacked participation hence the desperation to use children to participate,” said Penang Umno Youth Chief Rafizal Abd Rahim. http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2014/02/07/protest-against-the-wolf-of-wall-street-draws-flak/ —–

Wolf of Wall Street Producer Was Jho Low’s Party Planner – HOLLYWOOD EXCLUSIVE!
At Hollywood’s glittering Golden Globe Awards last week two new ‘hotshot producers’ basked in the limelight, as the star of their latest movie took the award for best actor in Wolf of Wall Street. Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland of Red Granite Pictures enjoyed a special mention of thanks in Leonardo Di Caprio’s acceptance speech for “taking a risk on this movie”, which their company famously bankrolled to the tune of $100million. Thank you Joey, Riz and Jho for not only being collaborators but for taking a risk on this movie”, said Di Caprio, as the cameras cut to the two beaming young men, who were sharing a table with the film’s legendary Director, Martin Scorcese. http://www.sarawakreport.org/2014/01/wolf-of-wall-street-producer-was-jho-lows-party-planner-hollywood-exclusive/ — WHO IS JHO LOW? Full screen credit to Jho Low in Wolf of Wall Street Such a form of accolade to an individual behind the scenes is almost unprecedented say those in the industry. The credit does not specify what the thanks are for, but Mr Low’s known specialisms are accessing massive private investment funds and financing hugely expensive parties.
“It is the first credit after the main title credits (which are at the end in this film). This is very unusual, I can’t remember ever seeing something like this.” Another top Hollywood producer told Sarawak Report.
If anyone wanted confirmation of the links between Najib’s stepson’s sudden spending spree in Hollywood and Malaysia’s most controversial businessman this is it. ,,, The connection has already got much of Hollywood whispering and it ought to raise serious questions in Malaysia, where Riza Aziz is a highly politically exposed person as the stepson of the Malaysian Prime Minister since 2009, Najib Razak. After all, it has been widely reported that Jho Low is a young man whose business dealings have engaged him in close contact with political decision-makers, including Taib Mahmud in Sarawak and Riza’s stepdad, Najib Razak. This is particularly with respect to the controversial public investment body 1Malaysia Development Bhd, set up by Najib with Jho Low’s help, according to its own website. Jho Low also claims Riza’s mother Rosmah Mansor as a close friend. Jho Low credited in ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ movie
Although the movie The Wolf of Wall Street produced by Malaysian born Riza Aziz’s Red Granite Pictures is banned in Malaysia, the movie’s closing credits also include a special thanks to Penang born businessman Jho Low. Sarawak Report also quoted Golden Globe Best actor winner Leonardo Dicaprio, who starred in the controversial movie directed by renowned director Martin Scorsese thanking Riza in his acceptance speech for financing the film. The film’s cost is estimated at US$100 million. “Thank you Joey, Riz and Jho for not only being collaborators but for taking a risk on this movie”, said Di Caprio, when accepting the award last week, as the cameras cut to the two beaming young men, who were sharing a table with Scorcese, the Sarawak Report said. Riza, is Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s stepson and the son of Malaysia’s first lady, Rosmah Mansor. The movie was reported to have been banned in Malaysia last week due to its explicit content and language. Jho (right in photo) was honoured with a full screen credit all to himself after the main titles. This, according to those in the industry, is almost unprecedented, said the Sarawak Report. Najib’s son does his part
PEKAN: Those who follow the prime minister and Barisan Nasional chairman on his campaign trail could not help but notice the presence of a charming young man with a fetching smile. Nor Ashman Najib, 22, may be fast becoming popular because of his good looks or the fact that he is the son of the country’s prime minister, or both. He seems to be handling the attention quite well, very much like his father Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

PM’s son to carry on legacy
BEIJING: Thirty-five years after then Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak Hussein laid the foundation for Malaysia-China diplomatic ties, his grandson Nor Ashman Najib is continuing the legacy by enrolling to study Mandarin here. The youngest son of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will start his intensive three-week course at the Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). “My father told me to spend quality time instead of doing nothing at home during my long summer holidays. He said I have to learn Mandarin in China so that I can master the language and communicate better with our Malaysian Chinese friends and Chinese nationals. “I promised that I would study hard. The course is short but I have a tight schedule to master it,” Nor Ashman said after a briefing on the course structure at the university yesterday. Nor Ashman, 19, developed an interest in the language two years ago while studying at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Accompanied by his mother Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Nor Ashman visited his new apartment and a Muslim canteen on campus.

‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ banned in Malaysia
The acclaimed but controversial film ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ has reportedly been banned in Malaysia due to explicit content and language. “Sources within Malaysia’s government film office told THR that the distributor of the film realised upon screening it that it would face huge problems with the censorship board because of its profanity, nudity and sex,” reported entertainment site The Hollywood Reporter. http://beta.malaysiakini.com/news/252129 — Malaysia Chronicle Saturday, 18 January 2014 10:19 TO SHIELD NAJIB-ROSMAH FROM SON’S SCANDAL? M’sia bans screening of Wolf of Wall St KUALA LUMPUR — “The Wolf of Wall Street” may be funded by Malaysian producer Riza Shahriz Abdul Aziz’s firm, but movie fans here will not get to watch the Hollywood show after it was reportedly banned by local authorities. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter this week, the film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio was banned in Malaysia and Nepal despite getting through the censors —albeit not without significant cuts — in strict Middle East countries such as Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates. “Sources within Malaysia’s government film office told THR that the distributor of the film realised upon screening it that it would face huge problems with the censorship board because of its profanity, nudity and sex,” said the report. Malaysian viewers motivated enough can, however, catch the film in Singapore, which has approved it for shows in up to nine theatres there after slapping it with the “R21” rating that limits it to those over the age of 21.

Hollywood just doesn’t seem to get it.” Berns and Bennett are referring to two uses of the word “retard” in The Wolf of Wall Street, as well as a third scene where Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Jordan Belfort is describing his drug experience as reaching the “cerebral palsy phase”. The statement continues: “Among moviegoers who have paid to see The Wolf of Wall Street in recent weeks are people with disabilities, their parents, siblings and friends. Najib’s family movie Wolf of Wall St ‘TOO HARAM’ to show in M’sia! Written by Sarawak Report PM Najib Razak’s step-son Riza Aziz was earlier interviewed by the top Hollywood magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, about his eyebrow-raising series of investments in the movie business. When they asked about what his family thought, he implied that his ‘Dad’ took an interest and monitored the content of his films. Referring to the current US$100million movie just released by Riza’s firm Red Granite Pictures, the Martin Scorcese directed Wolf Of Wall Street, starring Leonardo di Caprio, the conversation went thus:
Who paid for the production of ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’?
BY LEE SHI-IAN January 14, 2014 Even in its moment of glory at the Golden Globes, controversy shrouded the “The Wolf of Wall Street” as questions arose over the funding of the US$100 million (RM326 million) film. mStar Online reported that Riza Shahriz Abdul Aziz, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s son from an earlier marriage, declined to clarify speculation that Rosmah had funded the production of the film. … Riza, 36, one of the film’s producers, has refused to comment on speculation by a pro-opposition news portal that Rosmah had funded the film. mStar Online, however, did not reveal which pro-opposition news portal reported that Rosmah had allegedly funded the film. Riza, who made the headlines for purchasing a luxury condominium in New York worth RM110 million, is Rosmah’s son from her marriage to Abdul Aziz Nong Chik. http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/who-paid-for-the-production-of-the-wolf-of-wall-street — http://youtu.be/pabEtIERlic — http://youtu.be/idAVRvQeYAE — Malaysia Chronicle Wednesday, 01 January 2014 10:40 ROSMAH’s ‘fans’ spin son’s ‘DIRTY MOVIE’ as sort of ‘JIHAD’ to break JEWS’ MONOPOLY OF HOLLYWOOD As the fall-out continues from our previous expose into Najib’s step-son’s foray into the movie industry, along with a house buying spree in the United States, friends of Riza Aziz are rushing to his support. However, their comments so far are likely only to make things worse for the unaccountably wealthy young man. The Malaysia Gazette, for example, has quoted ‘a close friend of Riza Aziz in the United States’ saying that the Malaysian’s venture into the movie business has “managed to break the monopoly of the Jews in the world of film in Hollywood”!
“In fact , he said, Riza’s involvement has also managed to break the monopoly of the Jews in the world of film in Hollywood . On the basis of these developments, says a close friend , it is possible Riza will be the first Malaysian to be nominated for a Golden Globe Award and the prestigious Oscars. Who knows, one day Riza could pave the way for film directors in the country for directing films in Hollywood, as well as encouraging local actors making a name in there .” [Malaysia Gazette]
Such comments might go down well with a certain class of right wing Muslim extremists, who are currently trying to grasp control of the ruling BN coalition.

Najib told: Come clean on your stepson
Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak must explain his stepson’s involvement in a production company and his purchase of a multi-million ringgit luxury condominium in New York.
PETALING JAYA: The onus is on Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak to clarify and explain his stepson Riza Aziz’s involvement in a production company that bankrolled a RM300 million Hollywood movie, says PKR director of strategy, Rafizi Ramli. “The Prime Minister has a duty to prove that his stepson’s source of funds is legitimate and does not have anything to do with public funds,” Rafizi told a press conference here, today. He added this was especially so as it was questionable if anyone connected to a public official is seen to be living beyond their means. “It becomes a matter of concern as it confirms how public officials live beyond their means when it is currently difficult for others (the rakyat), financially,” he said. Najib told: Come clean on your stepson — RED GRANITE Riza is now a rising star in Hollywood, for he is said to have bankrolled the recently released film, “Wolf of Wall Street”, through producing company Red Granite Pictures which he co-founded with Joey McFarland. Red Granite picks up movies dropped by studios
December 24, 2013, 9:00 p.m.
Where movie studios see trouble, Red Granite Pictures sees opportunities. The new finance and distribution company’s business plan is both contrary and simple: Make the films the studios don’t. Among its first projects are Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street,” which comes out Wednesday, and next year’s “Dumb and Dumber To,” the intentionally misspelled sequel to the 1994 comedy. On the surface, those pictures don’t exactly seem like the sort that a major studio would cast aside. But both were complicated projects, fraught with thorny issues. Red Granite’s founders, Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland, said they thrive in these sorts of scenarios. “One of our sweet spots is movies that have died in the studios — movies that are just great product that everyone was hot on but for some reason or another just didn’t make it to the greenlight stage,” said McFarland, 41, a Louisville, Ky., native who is Red Granite’s vice chairman. http://touch.latimes.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-78666212/ — Malaysiakini
The 36-year-old stepson of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has reportedly purchased a US$33.5 million (RM110 million) condominium unit in New York. Riza Shahriz Abdul Aziz, the son of the prime minister’s wife Rosmah Mansor from an earlier marriage, bought the property at West 63rd Street in Park Laurel, New York, according to Sarawak Report. The report quotes a New York real estate website, The Real Deal, which said Riza bought the seven-bedroom property on Nov 19 last year. A New York Times report says the penthouse unit, situated in Central Park West, was purchased by Riza under the shield of a limited-liability company named Park Laurel Acquisition. Riza, according to Sarawak Report, began a banking career after graduating from the London School of Economics in 2000. The report said Riza had worked with consultancy firm KPMG until 2002 and later at HSBC London until the financial crash of 2008. “According to the Financial Services Authority, Riza Aziz was employed in a relatively minor role at HSBC for five years, although Aziz himself says he resigned in 2008,” reads the report. Despite his brief banking career, Riza is now a rising star in Hollywood, for he is said to have bankrolled the recently released film, “Wolf of Wall Street”, through producing company Red Granite Pictures which he co-founded with Joey McFarland. Wall Street Greed / Malaysian Money – EXPOSE!
The wife of the PM, Rosmah Mansor, is apparently advocating that every Malaysian school child should be shown the newly released Leonardo di Caprio film, The Wolf of Wall Street, in order to warn them against greed and immorality. One wonders how she proposes to get around the fact that the film has been X-rated owing to the violence and sex scenes, which extend to drug taking and mass orgies? Disrespectful? The Malaysian funded depiction of greed and debauchery on Wall Street was launched on Christmas Day in the US. http://www.sarawakreport.org/2013/12/wall-street-greed-malaysian-money-expose/ —– Sorry! Along with ‘BN-branded’ aid for flood victims, VIPs representing the coalition have turned up at the main relief centres set up in the several East Coast states. Mohd Nizar, the eldest son of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, visited a relief centre in Kuantan about 5pm yesterday. Sporting a t-shirt with the words ‘Najib My PM 2013’, he was accompanied by a sizeable entourage. Najib is the long-serving parliamentarian for Pekan, which is among the areas affected by severe flooding. Mohd Nizar, 35, who was asked if the words on his t-shirt would be interpreted as publicity for his father and the BN, replied: “No. I’m just here to help.” Saying he has been visiting flood-affected areas over the past few days and five relief centres to date, he then hurried away from the media. … Aid stamped with the BN logo has been arriving in Pahang.
