TMJ strikes again! And again.

“To Mr Ibdil (Ibdillah), you don’t need to get your cybertroopers to attack me and praise your ‘boss’. Nobody wants to bring down your ‘boss’. You need to remember that your political party’s biggest support comes from Johor. Think carefully.”

STADIUM, MY FELLOW MALAYS, CYBERTROOPERS AND RM100 MILLION PEOPLE’S MONEY

Good afternoon. First and foremost I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the U-22 national squad for their 2 victories in the group A stages of the 2017 SEA Games. I would also like to remind the players not to give too much thought on what is being said by the media or on the social media. You should be focused and maintain utmost concentration for every match in the competition. Remember also that only a handful of Malaysians are privileged enough to wear the national colours and you should be rightfully proud as it is the highest honour for every Malaysian to be selected and wear the national jersey. There’s no need to entertain those who criticize you as it is you who are representing and sacrificing for the country. Regardless of the result, be it win or lose, I will deal with the consequences and deal with them. I’m prepared to take full responsibility whatever the result may be and remember that the country and your families will continue to be proud and are thankful for your service to this country that we all love.

Second is in regards to those who have raised the issue of my absence from the stadium to give my support to the 2017 SEA Games squad. You may have conveniently forgotten about my contributions to the FAM in the time when the FAM, league, and participating teams did not have funds. I’m not one to bring up the past, but this is a fact. Recently as well, HM The Sultan of Johor also contributed RM4 million to the FAM to help with the structuring of the national squad and the local leagues. Incentives for the U-22 national squad was also given when they qualified to the final round of the U-23 Championship AFC 2018 in China. Adding to this, I’ve also met up with Astro to finalize the sponsorship for all participating teams in the Malaysian League. My fellow Malays, although you may feel the need to discredit someone, there’s no need to compare me to individuals who only show up at stadiums but choose to not give a single cent to help football in this country. There’s no need to make an appearance at the stadium for your own political mileage. Where was this individual and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) when FAM was desperate and needed financial aid? I’m not blaming KBS for not giving any funds to FAM. After all, the issue of the infamous RM100 million has not been resolved, how can they contribute to us?

I’m not interested to pretend and show up at the stadium just to get support. I do not need support as I’m not a politician. Hence, before trying to discredit anyone, please think again. Do not embarrass the Malay race with your vindictive attitude. From my experience, in comparison to the Indians or Chinese I find that it’s the Malay race that insults and questions their Rulers and the Royal Institution every day. Only when they’re stuck and desperate will the Malay politicians turn to the Rulers and the Royal Institution.

Having said this, I’m only a voice on my own. I do not have nor do I employ “cybertroopers” to support me much like the politicians. I’m not a person who shows my face at the stadium just for popularity but magically disappears when football needs financial assistance.

If anyone is wondering where I am at this present moment, I’m currently on holidays overseas. Since the start of the year till now, I haven’t had the opportunity to have a break with my family. But fear not, as I’ve sent my representative, the Minister of Youth and Sports who is ever so ready to provide his service and support for our country.

To Mr. Ibdil, you don’t need to get your cybertroopers to attack me and praise your ‘boss’. Nobody wants to bring down your ‘boss’. You need to remember that your political party’s biggest support comes from Johor. Think carefully.

I will always pray for your stability, Malaysia

COMMENT | What’s happening to a country I used to respect? A country that I was once proud to call my home.

A country that I pray for stability. What’s happening to my beloved friend, Malaysia? I hope that one day, you’ll be okay again.

Today, I live in a country where corruption has become a tradition.

A country in which the media protects the corrupt and victimises the innocents, to sell stories.

The uneducated are being deceived, manipulated by the system and torn into pieces.

It has become a place where the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

A place where the people no longer acknowledge facts, but rather judge by the perception of what you are wearing.

Where the actors and hypocrites are hailed as heroes while the contributors and those who are dedicated to the good cause are being ignored and perceived as villains, manipulated by the pictures they see.

It has become a place where politicians are wanting to be celebrities and sportsmen.

Where a person who can’t ride a horse or play polo can be selected to represent the country.

Where individuals who don’t even go for proper military training can become a general.

A country where the institution is slowly losing its identity.

Leaders who act with what they’re wearing, but behind closed doors, forces the government to use the people’s money to pay for their private jet, are being respected.

A country where my own race has forgotten our history, heritage and culture.

A country that abandons our local traditions such as our traditional clothes and chooses to adopt foreign customs, wanting to be like the Arabs.

A place plagued by jealousy and envy. A place where you can buy titles, and now those titles have lost its value.

Some chose to keep quiet because they themselves have skeletons in their closet.

While some like me choose to speak up because we are worried about what’s going to happen to our grandchildren and our future generations.

A country where individuals want to be politicians for their personal interest and no longer believe in serving the people and our institution.

Where being in denial and ignorant has become the way of life.

Where the deceiver gains more grounds and power.

Where the truth is being ignored and lies being acknowledged.

Honour, loyalty and being genuine no longer exist. What’s happening to you, my dear friend?

But, don’t you worry, as they are still a few that haven’t lost hope.

There are still a few that will sacrifice for our future generations.

A few that will change things from within.

The vision is clear. Now is the time to implement it. Vision without execution is a hallucination. Stay strong my friend.

You’ll be ok. You’re fortunate to have friends such as Sabah, Sarawak and other places. Be kind to them.

Respect them. Unity is the key to success.

I wish you all the best and I will always pray for your stability Malaysia.

From your friend and a good partner, Johor. The humble servant of the Sultan of Johor and the state of Johor.

an exceptional ruler, says Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister James Masing

Francis Siah

The Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim’s latest statement expressing his disappointment and disillusionment on the sorry state of affairs in the nation has won support from Sarawak.

“The Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ) did the right thing by speaking up on what he thinks is the truth. He is a person who has the courage to speak his mind on matters of national interest in a blunt manner”, Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister James Masing said.

“I appreciate and admire TMJ’s wisdom and courage to take a stand and be on the people’s side.

“It’s not easy for a member of the royal family to be so critical of the nation’s leadership. TMJ is an exceptional ruler in this instance.

“No one can fault him for voicing out his inner feelings. Above all, you can’t fault TMJ on the truth of the matter,” Masing told Malaysiakini today.
.

Tunku Ismail also gave a one-liner to Sabah and Sarawak in his posting, with an advice to respect the two Borneo states and its peoples.

“Malaysia, you’ll be okay. You’re fortunate to have friends such as Sabah, Sarawak and other places. Be kind to them. Respect them. Unity is the key to success.”

On this, Sarawak Assistant Minister Dr Jerip Susil chipped in: “Timely advice indeed. Very correct and right into the heart of it.”

Netizens poke fun at Khairy over TMJ article
.

JOHOR crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, who wrote an article tearing into corruption in Malaysia and criticising government leaders, had mentioned no names.

But as his article went viral – being read and shared by the thousands on social media – many paid attention to a particular paragraph on politicians wanting to be celebrities and sportsmen.

Most knew who the crown prince was referring to, and could not resist making some snide remarks and poking fun at the sportsman politician.

“The horse-riding and polo must be for KJ. Haha,” Aiman Ibrahim commented on Facebook.

“Who is he (Tunku Ismail) talking about – the person who can’t play polo well but is chosen to represent the country, and has no military training but is a general?

“I keep seeing the person’s face in my mind,” Facebook user Sayelah Daus wrote.
.
It was reported yesterday that the popular Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, who is also widely referred to by his initials KJ, has been picked for the national polo team in the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games.

He will be the first government minister in the region and Malaysia to take part in the biennial games.

Khairy also became the first minister to be promoted to brigadier-general in the Askar Wataniah (Territorial Army) last year. The promotion was effective from January 2015.

Amir Kamari wrote: “(This is) about KJ being picked as a 2017 SEA Games athlete for polo? About the army too? Curious…”

DYAM Mejar Jeneral Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor
