Johor MB Khaled: Let party decide on Bakri Umno vice chief

KOTA ISKANDAR: Johor Umno will let the party supreme council to decide on the fate of a division leader who was with a drug offence at Ayer Keroh magistrate’s court.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin declined to comment on the case involving Bakri Umno vice chief Datuk Mohamed Mustafa Abdul Kadir.
“It is his personal life and I do not want to comment on it.
“We will let the party leaders to decide on Mohamed Mustafa following the recent case against him,” he said at the launching of Kembara Kerjaya 4.0 held at Bangunan Dato Jaafar building here.
Mohamed Mustafa, a businessman, was charged at the Ayer Keroh magistrate court on Tuesday with abusing methamphetamine.
The court was told that Mohamed Mustafa, who claimed trial, allegedly self-administered the dangerous drug.

Johor Umno leader charged with drug abuse at police HQ
PETALING JAYA: Johor Umno division leader Mohamed Mustafa Abdul Kadir has claimed trial to abusing drugs at the Malacca police contingent headquarters in Bukit Beruang last year.
According to a report in The Star which quoted court documents, Mustafa, who has a Datuk title, was said to have self-administered a methamphetamine-type drug at the narcotics department there at 6pm on Aug 1
