Under investigation: Security guards who lost RM400,000 to snatcher

There were 6 security guards, all armed to the teeth. All it took was one man to snatch a bag filled with RM400,000. There was no resistance. No shot was fired by any security guard.

Of course, the police are suspicious!

Six security guards held after robbery at bank

ALOR GAJAH: The police have detained six security guards for questioning after a robbery at a bank branch in Pulau Sebang here Wednesday night.

Alor Gajah Police chief Supt Muhamad Ismail Muhamad Yusuf said the robbery took place at 9.30pm as the guards were taking RM400,000 from the bank to a security van.

A Toyota Hilux vehicle, with a false registration number, drove up to the van and a man alighted and grabbed the bag containing the money, which one of the guards was carrying towards the van, he said.

The Toyota Hilux then sped off towards Tampin in Negeri Sembilan, he said, adding that the guard was unharmed.

Bank guards stunned as robbers ‘snatch’ RM400k from under their noses
By Kelly Koh – 21 January 2016 @ 10:21 AM

ALOR GAJAH: A group of bank security guards are being probed over how they lost a whopping RM400,000 cash to robbers without even firing off a single shot.
In the 9.30pm incident yesterday, a security guard was about to transfer a bag filled with cash from a bank in Pulau Sebang to an armoured van parked outside.
Suddenly, a pickup truck pulled up alongside and a man exited, snatching the bag from the guard. The man then retreated into the truck before it was driven off by an accomplice.
Alor Gajah district police chief Superintendent Muhammad Ismail Muhammad Yusuf said the whole incident occurred with no scuffle and not even a shot fired.
“We are disappointed over the failure of the security guard to let off any shots when he had a pump gun with him.
“He could have fired during the time where the suspect was entering the back of the pickup truck. “Not even a scuffle broke out between them,” he said.
