Pothole-riddled road in Pandamaran puts motorists at risk

…
A badly maintained stretch of road right after the Konsortium Expressway Shah Alam Selangor (Kesas) highway in Pandamaran, near Port Klang, has become a hazard to road users with numerous potholes, a bad drainage system and an absence of street lights.
Fearing for the safety of his family, especially his two daughters who have to commute on a daily basis in the evening, businessman Mohd Fouzi Yunus told The Malaysian Insider that the situation had become worse since September due to the rainy season.
He said new potholes appeared every now and then on Jalan Taman Kem because of the accumulated water due to the poor drainage.
…
Fouzi had reached out to The Malaysian Insider through our #ZeroPotHole campaign launched on December 8 in an effort to get authorities to take potholes seriously and provide smoother roads.
In a strongly worded email to The Malaysian Insider, Fouzi had written: “I don’t care whose authority the responsibilities to maintain the roads and the lightings fall into as I think everyone entrusted with his or her duties has failed miserably.
“There is no difference between BN (Barisan Nasional) or PH/PR (Pakatan Harapan/Pakatan Rakyat) or whatever. They all have failed. I am really hoping that another feature article from The Malaysian Insider would help to put some shame on these authorities that they will start doing their job.”
