In the early morning incident, a woman was seriously injured while two other sustained minor injuries when a funfair swing machine collapsed on them.

The victims, identified as Hawa Liana Kamar Bashah, 21, Abd Rahman Mohamad, 35, and Nor Aminur Rashid Nor Hisham, 17, were rushed to Port Dickson Hospital for treatment.

PORT DICKSON: The Port Dickson Municipal Council has revoked the permit of funfair operator following the mishap at Port Dickson Water Front which left three injured early this morning.

Its chief Datuk Ab Khalid Mat when contacted said the operator had obtained the permit to run the funfair.

“The council would temporary revoke the permit until full investigation report on the area and machine is received. The organiser was allowed to operate on Nov 1 and till Dec 31.

“The operator had regularly organised funfair at PD Water Front,” he said.
