Ever sent an e-mail to a friend, colleague or boss on a rash moment of impulse, only to regret it later?

That is set to be a thing of the past as Google – after years of testing – finally makes available its new “undo send” feature on Gmail.

The feature can be turned on in the settings pane directly below a user’s profile picture on the top right hand corner.

The user will then need to check the “enable undo send” function and can choose a five, 10, 20 or 30 seconds cancellation period from a drop-down list.
