According to Thailand’s Foreign Ministry, the 32-year-old woman denied sexual assault took place as was previously alleged, as well as the accusation regarding the use of separate room for recording a statement.
“The Thai embassy (in Malaysia) was informed by the Thai woman that there was no sexual assault and no closed-door questioning in a separate room as was recorded in the report,” said the ministry in a statement released in Bangkok.
Officers from the Thai embassy visited the woman on March 23.
The ministry also said the Thai woman and her three other Thai friends had been transferred to a women’s shelter in Johor, in accordance with an order issued by the court under Malaysia’s human trafficking law.

Thai masseuse says she was raped by immigration officer in Malacca depot
MALACCA: A Thai masseuse claimed she was raped by an immigration officer and forced to perform oral sex on him at the Machap Umboo detention centre in Alor Gajah, earlier this month.
The incident came to light when the 32-year-old woman told her sister, 28, about her ordeal.
Speaking to the press yesterday, the victim’s younger sister said she and a friend had gone to the massage centre in Melaka Raya on March 7 to meet up with her sibling, who worked there.
However, immigration officers raided the centre at 11pm.
Both sisters as well as three female workers were rounded up and brought to the immigration depot the following day.
The following day, the five were brought to the Machap Umboo immigration depot.
“We each had our statements recorded separately. My sister was the first to enter the questioning room.
“She spent about 15 minutes in there. When she came out, she appeared furious.
“When I asked her why, she told me that she had been sexually assaulted,” claimed the woman.
She claimed her sister told her that the immigration officer had demanded a massage, and then forced himself on her without a condom. He also forced her to perform oral sex on him.
“My sister vomited as a result,” she claimed.
“I was eventually released after I showed proof that I had valid documents,” added the woman, who is married to a Malaysian.
Her 34-year-old husband, who is from Seremban, was also present at the press conference.
Furious over the sexual assault against her sister, the housewife lodged a report at the Melaka Tengah police station.

Holes emerge in Thai masseuse’s rape claim against Immigration officer
MALACCA: Holes have emerged in the police report of a 32-year-old Thai masseuse who claimed that an Immigration Department officer raped her at the Machap Umboo detention centre in Alor Gajah.
It is learnt that investigation officers are probing every angle after the masseuse provided conflicting details on Wednesday night.
Her 28-year-old sister from Taman Permai, Seremban only lodged a police report at the Melaka Tengah station on March 21 at 12.50pm although the incident allegedly occurred on March 9.
Malacca CID chief Senior Asst Comm Kamaluddin Kassim said the ongoing investigation would cover all possible angles to be fair to all parties.
He said it was premature for him to say if the report was lodged in bad faith and aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the immigration officer.
