Tow truck operator found dead in Sitiawan oil palm estate

SITIAWAN: A tow truck operator was found dead at an oil palm estate at Sungai Ramai in Ayer Tawar here early this morning.

The body of Ting Kwong Boh, 38, was found by member of the public who then lodged a report with the police.

Manjung district police chief Assistant Commissioner Tengku Mohd Zailan Tengku Ahmad Shah said the victim’s father last spoke to him on Wednesday at 10.30am.
.
“During the conversation, the victim said he had been beaten up and left at an oil palm estate,” he said today.
.
Ting, said Tengku Zailan, also told his father that his Toyota Altis had been taken by the perpetrators.
.
“We found the victim’s car, which had been set ablaze, in the same estate where the victim’s body was found,” he added.
