Selepas 3 minggu, wanita insiden stesen minyak meninggal dunia
Difahamkan, mangsa berusia 25 tahun itu meninggal dunia akibat jangkitan kuman.
PETALING JAYA: Seorang wanita yang disambar api ketika mengisi petrol di sebuah stesen minyak di Setapak tiga minggu lalu, meninggal dunia Sabtu lalu, China Press melaporkan.
Mangsa yang melecur 60% di badannya menerima rawatan di Hospital Kuala Lumpur sejak tiga minggu lalu dan difahamkan meninggal dunia akibat jangkitan kuman.
Kejadian itu berlaku pada 28 Jun lalu, apabila mangsa berusia 25 tahun menjawab panggilan telefon ketika mengisi petrol di sebuah stesen minyak di Taman Setapak Indah, Setapak.
Penolong Pengarah Bahagian Operasi Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Kuala Lumpur, Azizan Ismail dilaporkan sebagai berkata, pakaian mangsa hampir terbakar keseluruhannya dengan kesan melecur di badan, dada dan beberapa bahagian lain.
Beliau berkata, mangsa masih sedar dan mampu memberi maklumat peribadinya kepada anggota bomba sebelum dikejarkan ke hospital.

PETALING JAYA: A woman suffered 60% burns to her body in an explosion, after she used her handphone while filling up petrol in Setapak Indah, Kuala Lumpur.
According to the Wangsa Maju Fire and Rescue Department, they received a distress call at 1.30pm of an explosion at the petrol station.
Upon arrival, they discovered that the explosion occurred in a Perodua Axia.
“The cause of the explosion stemmed from the victim, who is in her 20s, using her handphone while filling up petrol.”
The victim suffered 60% burns to her body and was rushed to the nearest hospital.

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman suffered severe burns while she was using her mobile phone as her car was being refueled at a station in Setapak.
Witnesses said they saw the woman, aged 25, of Batu Caves talking on her phone inside the car at around 1.25pm Tuesday at the petrol station in Taman Setapak Indah.
A worker at the station said he then saw smoke in the back of the vehicle and rushed to it. When he opened the door thick smoke gushed out from the car.

“When we arrived at the scene about 10 minutes later, we found the victim with burns covering about 60% of her body,” he told The Star Online.
“The cause of the explosion seems to be due to the victim using her mobile phone while refueling her car,” he said.

“A spark ignited from the pump and triggered a reaction with her handphone,” said Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department operations chief Samsol Maarif Saibani.
