Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Sum Chang Keong said there were no CCTV recordings of the incident, and there was no one around at the time as well.
“We have spoken to a few possible witnesses, including the security guard and the school gardener.
“None of them saw a white van near the school compound,” he said, adding that no visitors were registered in the security guard’s book.
ACP Sum also said a psychology expert from the police force will interview the girl again.
“No injury was reported and investigations are going on,” he said.

IPOH: A Year Five pupil claimed that three men tried to kidnap her at school here today.
In the 9am incident, a 53-year-old female teacher found the victim in a state of shock and shivering inside the school office.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Sum Chang Keong said the victim claimed that she was coming out of the toilet when the suspects suddenly came and offered her sweets.
However, one of them immediately held her before covering her mouth with his hand.
“She claimed that the suspects had forced her to enter their white van, which was parked not far from the bicycle parking area.
“However, the girl managed to escape,” he said here today.
Sum said the teacher had informed the girl’s parents before bringing her to the Kampung Tawas police station to lodge a report.
Apart from the girl and her teacher, he said police had also recorded statements from the school’s security guard and gardener.

Year Five student narrowly escapes abduction inside school grounds
IPOH: An 11-year-old pupil was nearly abducted as she was coming out of the washroom of a school in Kampung Tawas here on Wednesday morning.
The girl was walking out around 9am when a man came up to her and gestured with his hand as if he was about to offer her a treat.
Instead, he clamped his hands over her mouth as he and two other men tried to pull her into a white van parked near the bicycle parking area of the school, around 100m away.
The girl managed to escape, and was found in a fearful, shivering state by her 53-year-old teacher.
The teacher took the girl to lodge a police report.
