Man appeared to have jumped from 5th floor of Wisma Atria
SINGAPORE – A man fell from the fifth floor of Wisma Atria, a shopping mall on Orchard Road, on Thursday evening at about 9.50pm.
A spokesman from YTL Starhill Global REIT, which manages the mall, said the incident took place at 9.50 pm, and that the police and paramedics were notified immediately.
“Based on CCTV footage, the man appeared to have jumped from the fifth floor next to the escalator,” the spokesman added.

A user by the name of Camy Doc Bean said on Facebook at 10.28pm: ” We heard a loud slam and then a woman’s scream. Next thing we saw was a body sprawled in an awkward position on the ground floor of Wisma Atria.
“It was the public who first responded by rushing towards the man and they decided to flip him on his back to apply CPR on him.
“It took awhile for the building security to reach the scene and start cordoning off the area.”

SINGAPORE — A man fell several storeys inside Wisma Atria mall this evening at around 9.50pm (Dec 10), according to eye-witnesses.
Police confirmed that the incident had occurred and that investigations were ongoing.
An eye-witness, who declined to be named, told TODAY that she was at the Omakase Burger outlet on the first floor of the mall when she saw something fall. Initially she had thought that a Christmas decoration had fallen down, she said.
The mall was not very crowded at the time of the incident as most shops were closing, said the eye-witness.
