By Jaspal Singh – 24 June 2014 @ 11:15 AM
IPOH: Police have arrested five suspects in the case of a female manager who was abducted by four men while she was driving back home last week.
Perak police chief Datuk Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said two were arrested shortly after the victim was abducted last Thursday night while three more had been arrested within a couple of days after the incident.
He said police had identified the motive of the abduction.
“The suspects involved have a bad relationship with the victim and wanted to settle a score with her.
“What is more important in this case is that the four men who had abducted the female manager were paid to take her.
“Police have identified people behind the abduction and will be making more arrest soon,” he said when met at a police function in Hulu Kinta near here today.
