Retraction

On or/about 17th March 2014, I had posted a defamatory statement on my FB about Sri Sanjeevan Ramakrishnan, DSAI and Dato Sri Edmund Santhara. I sincerely state that the said statement are nit true and baseless.

For the above reason, I am sincerely sorry for my behaviour and for offending Sri Sanjeevan, DSAI adn Edmund Santhara. Hence I hereby retract all the defamatory statements made against them

I also apologise for the inconvenience this has caused them and I promise would not repeat the same again.

On a final note, the aforementioned defamatory statements were published and issued by me on instructions and demands by ‘people in power’ with the sole idea of tarnishing and compromising the name of Sri Sanjeevan, DSAI and Edmund Santara.

Yuktes Vijay kaki fitnah Anwar Ibrahim diarah dihantar ke Tanjung Rambutan oleh Mahkamah..

SEDIKIT masa dulu, nama Yuktes Vijay agak popular di media arus perdana, dia dijadikan modal untuk menyerang dan memfitnah Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim oleh TV3 dan Utusan Malaysia.

Baru-baru ini difahamkan, Yuktes telah membuat satu kenyataan fitnah menuduh Pengerusi MyWatch, R Sri Sanjeevan sengaja menembak dirinya sendiri ‎untuk menjadi popular.

Susulan fitnah tersebut, Sanjeevan telah membuat laporan polis membawa kepada penangkapan Yuktes.

Ketika pendakwaan di mahkamah Kajang, di bawah seksyen 500 Kanun Keseksaan, Yuktes mengaku tidak bersalah dan mohon dibicarakan, bagaimanapun tiada jaminan ditawarkan kerana dia tidak mempunyai penjamin.‎

According Sanjeevan twitter page yesterday Yuktes create ruckus in court, so the court has ordered that Yuktes sent to Hospital Bahagia Tanjung Rambutan and given a month-long surveillance.

Yuktes aware that he has no chance of winning

PETALING JAYA: Lawyer Yuktes Vijay is well aware that he does not stand any chance of winning the Kajang state seat, but is still throwing his hat in the ring anyway.

“I am not contesting to win. I will not go on stage to give ceramah, and I am not fishing for votes.

“I am participating in the by-election to raise awareness on education, healthcare and leadership programmes run by Take The Lead, an NGO that I founded,” said Yuktes, 25.

Stressing that he was not politically aligned to anyone, Yuktes said he once served as a member of Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s legal team.

Yuktes, who was once a staunch supporter of Anwar, will also be contesting against Barisan Nasional’s Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun, and possibly against another handful of independent candidates that are said to include Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, Datuk S. Nallakaruppan and dangdut singer Herman Tino.

Kajang polls hopeful caught in racism row

Yuktes Vijay, a former legal aide of Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim’s lawyer Sankara Nair, has been caught in a racism row after a controversial Chinese New Year greeting status he posted on his Facebook page on Thursday.

Yuktes, who has offered himself as an independent candidate for the Kajang by-election against Anwar, made his Chinese New Year greetings to only five percent of the Chinese community who he said are “good and grateful”.

“To all the DAP and other Chinese who are in the same direction as them, please drink a lot and drive your cars to Genting. If you manage to reach there, please gamble as though today is the last day of the world.

“If you manage to wake up tomorrow, it is fated, we can’t change anything, we have to fight the racist attitude for one more year. To my family which are the five percent, you know I love you all,” he posted on his Facebook late on Thursday.

‘I hate the 95 percent because they voted for DAP’

However, Yuktes….defended his posting and claimed it is unfair to label him a racist.

“Can I be called racist when the five percent who support me are also from the same race?” he asked in subsequent Facebook posting late last night.

“I hate the 95 percent of the composition (Chinese) because they support DAP, not because they are from that composition (Chinese),” he said.

“I hate DAP and that will not change,” Yuktes said

Kajang by-election: Anwar’s former aide to run against him

PETALING JAYA: Yuktes Vijay, a former aide in Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s legal team, has decided to run against the Opposition Leader for the Kajang state seat in the upcoming by-election.

“It wasn’t a hard decision to run against him. Even if he was not a former idol of mine, I would do it – this is all stupid politicking,” said the 25-year-old, who will run as an independent candidate.

Once an ardent admirer of the Permatang Pauh MP, the Take The Lead NGO leader has since emerged as one of his most vocal critics.

The Penang-born’s manifesto is simple: “I’m going to make sure Pakatan Rakyat fulfill every single point in their manifesto from GE12 in 2008 and GE13 last year.”

Though Yuktes does not know who his proposer and seconder will be yet, he believes “two good souls in Kajang” will step up.

He feels sorry for residents in the constituency, as they are “sacrificial lambs” in the three-way tussle between Anwar, Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, and PKR vice-president Azmin Ali.

“It’s ridiculous that a party’s power struggle has resulted in a by-election. It’s a waste of public funds,” he said.

Yuktes also hopes his actions will show politicians not to take the people who vote them into power for granted.

Asked whether he stood any real chance at winning the by-election, his answer was an empathetic “of course not!”
