Anwar to attend Oct 10 anti-TPPA rally REGARDLESS of Dr M

Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has confirmed his participation in a rally against the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) which could see him share the stage with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

That is, if his former boss confirms his attendance.

“Datuk Seri Anwar has expressed his willingness while Tun Dr Mahathir who has been a strong opponent of Malaysia signing the agreement has yet to give an affirmative answer,” said Badrul Hisham Shahrin or CheguBard, the founder of youth movement Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM), the rally organiser.

“We are still waiting for a response from him and are optimistic that he will consider attending the final rally.”
