MP questions arrest of ‘peeing-stomping’ BN protesters
| Harakahdaily, | 19 September 2012 |
Sep 19: Shah Alam member of parliament Khalid Samad has questioned a claim by Home minister Hishamuddin Hussein that several men had been nabbed over their indecent gestures during separate protests against Pakatan Rakyat.

Khalid expressed surprise that the arrest was reported only a day after a police officer from Terengganu met him.
Khalid said two days before Hishamuddin’s announcement, an investigation officer had recorded his statement following a police report lodged at the Gombak police station over an incident in early 2010, in which pro-UMNO protesters in Shah Alam stomped Khalid’s photograph.
………….
“I consider the investigation had just begun, so I am very surprised when Hishamuddin said that arrests were made the next day. Really? Or is this another of UMNO’s usual political games?” asked Khalid.
