A Poem.

Looking Out for 22022022

22.2.22 is a palindromic* date
Reads the same forward or terbalik**
It co-incidentally falls on a Tuesday
Making it an ALL TWO’s DAY

On 22nd day of Water Tiger Year
Many couples will wed sans fear
Marking start of the Roaring 20’s
Two years late due to the disease

Herd immunity couldn’t materialise
Despite vaccinations we now realise
‘Cos the virus mutates profligately
Need to tackle it more appropriately

Hope Omicron will soon peter out
No more virulent ones to worry about
So by the tail end of the Tiger Year
Unmasked, can smile from ear to ear
